United KingdomWe had to hand our key into reception every morning when we left the accommodation. When we arrived again in the evening we would collect it from reception and they would return the key with no questions. This felt a bit unsafe as anyone could have asked for our room key.
Bedrooms were very spacious and light. Twin room was perfect for what we needed. Amenities provided were excellent.

United KingdomWe had room 101 which is on the ground floor right next to the stairs. This meant we had quite a bit of disturbed sleep as there was no elevator/lift and a lot of stomping going on. It's not the hotel's fault (at all!) but something to be aware of.
Great location with easy access to the trains and metro. The 7-11 next door is super handy! Nice to have a separate shower and toilet. Great air con and mini fridge to store water etc. We were able to check in before the check in time as our room was ready, which was fab. We left our bags for a little while upon check out which was also great. Staff were all friendly! We had read the previous comments and were therefore aware if having to leave out room key every time we left so this didn't bother us.

The location is good for transportation and restaurants. Hotel staff is kind and helpful. The air conditioner is efficient.

SwedenOnly thing I did’t like was leaving the key at the reception. It did’t feel safe enough with staff changing all the time and not checking who’s actually entering inside. I prefer to take care of my key and in case of it being lost just cover the replacement.

AustraliaThe hotel did not have lifts so if you are carrying luggage and get a room on the 1st floor, it can be quiet challenging.
Location was great, within 15mins walk from Shinjuku train station, there was another train station near the hotel "shin-okubo" we ended up using this one, hotel is a 30sec walk from the main street so there was no noise. The main street had countless dining options with Don Quijote store nearby along with many other stores. Great place to stay if you are looking for a good vibe and after 11pm it sort of slows down and gets quiet. Highly recommended for couples and solo travelers but maybe not suitable for family with children depends on their respective perception.

United KingdomGreat location - very central, close to subway, shops, restaurants and bars and and places we wanted to visit. Staff were friendly and spoke English. There wasn’t a lift so wouldn’t be suitable for someone with mobility problems. We found the room a little stuffy on the first night but turns out we weren’t using the A/c properly so make sure you check with staff about how to use the controls! Would definitely stay there again when visiting Tokyo.

AustraliaThe beds were that hard, we barely slept. We woke every morning in pain. We asked for a mattress topper, but they didn't have any. My suggestion for them would be to get some, as that is the only thing letting this review down.
The location was excellent, 7 eleven on the corner, and every type of cuisine you can imagine just minutes from the door. The room was spacious compared to some other places we looked at.

IsraelPerfect location for first time in Tokyo - just 2 minutes walk from shin-okubo station providing convenient transportation to all parts of Tokyo and only ten minutes walk from Shinjuku (if you want to return after the last train). Room was clean and had everything we needed. Biggest room we had in Japan for that price. Sports center is close with cheap one day pass options.

PolandYou could hear everything happening next door. We were located on the ground floor and kept getting woken up every time people from the room above walked or used a shower. We do not recommend it for people who are very noise-sensitive or would be jet-lagged after the trip and would need to sleep during the day - we couldn't sleep longer than 9AM because of the noises in the corridor and staff cleaning other rooms.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was amazing - few minutes from JR line station, close to restaurants and supermarkets.

SwedenThe beds were super hard and you could hear people talk loudly in the corridors and hear them walk hard in the rooms above. The light in the outside corridor came in to the room at night and there were no windows to know what the weather was like.
Really good locatio and easy to find. Close to train station and in the middle of fun area. It had nice aircon and had a very good price. The staff was super friendly. The room was spacious
