United StatesI loved everything about the Shinra Tateyama, but maybe if there were clearer instructions for getting to the hotel from Tateyama Station, or recommendations for tourism destinations nearby, it would be helpful (I'm a foreigner and don't know the area or how to use the local bus very well)
The staff is incredibly kind, and all parts of the hotel and meal service were flawless. The food was all super fresh and delicious—the chef and sommelier clearly put a lot of thought into the meals and wine. The dining room has a beautiful sunset view of Mt. Fuji. Everything complemented the natural beauty of Tateyama. The room was clean and spacious. The prices were also great for a luxury experience!

From the moment we got there to when we left, the staff made sure our stay there was nothing but relaxing. The facilities and private open air bath included with the rooms were clean and beyond my expectations.

SingaporeThe service is unprofessional. The staffs are not knowledgeable and have low standard of servicing. The staff placed ordered of the dishes by my side where I could hear many times. The table is not big yet staffs only cleared the plates. Cups and sake bottles were left clocking on the table. The way food were served was like Izakaya not high end hotel. The food taste is not really good. It is not worth every $ n not reccomended
The room has very nice view of Mount Fuji and very comfortable except for the outdoor in-room hot spring. The temperature is so high as if it’s shared hot spring and no one will feel comfy at that temperature.
