Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe cost of staying at this property for 2 nights was almost USD$2,500.
I wanted to visit Zamami Island after seeing an amazing post on Instagram and found St. Maire on Booking.com. The location is great as it's right next to the ferry terminal and our main bedroom was great. however, the children's room was quite small and the toilet in their bedroom was as tiny as one found on a plane. The staff was wonderful and friendly but unfortunately the restaurant was not open. Finally, even though the unit we booked was for 4 occupants, we had to pay extra upon arrival for our two children, making the price quite prohibitively high. Despite that, if I were to visit Zamami Island again, I will probably stay at this property again.

ItalySt. Maire Zamami has been one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. They welcome you at the port and drive you to the resort front door, it’s really close by but it’s appreciated, especially if you have a large luggage. You get a welcome drink, you get to choose a complimentary bath and shower kit, and you also get to pick your first breakfast time and menu before being taken to your room. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern and elegant, with nice views over the port area. Breakfast is prepared fresh for you every day, and you always get to choose the time and the menu for the next day. You can have it both indoor and outdoor. Quality is very high. Staff is super friendly and helpful, it really felt like a family taking care of you, I have kept ‘bothering’ them with many requests and they have always helped me, from suggestions on what to visit to where to eat for lunch and dinner. I HIGHLY recommend having them suggest and book dinner restaurants for you every single day because there aren’t many options and they tend to get full quickly. If you walk in either direction from the resort you will end up in 2 beautiful beaches, I suggest visiting both, especially the west one for amazing breathtaking sunset views. The resort provides you with beach towels and snorkeling masks if necessary. The closest observation deck is Takatsukiyama and I recommend visiting it, you can easily walk to it in around 15-20 minutes and you will have amazing views, plus a nice patio to relax at. Around town you will find many snorkeling and similar activities tours options, and you also have the possibility to rent bikes or scooters.

NetherlandsLuxurious hotel with a great location within walking distance of many local restaurants. The staff is extremely accommodating, pick up and drop off at the port was great. The included breakfast was superb! We will def. return if the opportunity allows us. We chose the 2 room suite since our daughter was with us. Beautifully appointed with everything you need.

Saudi ArabiaOne thing I found unpleasant is that they told me their restaurant is shut and they don’t take orders for lunch or dinner, it’s a small island with just few restaurants not opened all week days, and I had to go out at night searching for food one after another till I found one they didn’t want to let me in because I had no reservation but because it was raining outside and I was alone they were kind enough to let me in. It’s essential for the hotel to provide food for their guests specially with that price value of the stay.
The ocean view room was exceptional, very beautiful view, the whole hotel is clean and neat, there’s a jacuzzi on the rooftop you can use whilst enjoying the ocean view, another unique thing is that the rooms are set with names not numbers, cute. One of the staff has pick me up when I arrived and dropped me off at the port when I left, really helpful !

CanadaA little expensive but worth it. Be sure to make dinner reservations (anywhere in town). The town in Zamami is small and the restaurants fill up quickly. Happily the hotel has a good restaurant. Try the Mexican place for lunch! (No reservations needed at lunch)
Zamami is about 90 minutes from Naha by ferry. It is small and quiet and really beautiful. The hotel was close to the ferry and staff meet you (and take you back). If you like to get off the beaten track - please visit. BTW staff is wonderful!

United KingdomI couldn't fault this place if I tried!
The view, the staff, the facilities, the convenience - everything was amazing! My room was beautiful and the hotel is moments from the dock. I rented an eScooter from them and got to tour the most amazing sights, then had an amazing dinner here in the evening! The staff were super-friendly, patient, and helpful, and made a foreign traveller feel very welcome on their island! Worth every yen!

United StatesThe place felt a bit expensive for the price we paid. But it does appear like one of the most luxurious hotels on Zamami, we booked late for Golden Week, and it is very remote.
Very relaxing location. We asked the staff to book tours last minute and they made it happen. They also made restaurant bookings and had great recommendations. The room was a bit small, but clean, modern and quiet. The rooftop jacuzzi was great. The staff picked us up at the ferry.

United KingdomThe room was cramped and could’ve been better designed. Breakfast had to be ordered the day before when we stayed, probably because it was off-season. Seems significantly more expensive than other options in the village.
Very comfortable small hotel right on the harbour side on the utterly charming island of Zamami. 2 mins walk from the ferry. Zamami village has various places to eat, we visited in the off-season and many places were closed so we spent our evenings at the La Touquee izakaya. The supermarket on the Main Street was also very handy, they have a fridge full of Orion beer. The fish co op was excellent for lunch as well (assuming they have food left, it often sells out), The hotel has a rooftop hot tub which is nice on a chilly night. Very comfy beds. We had breakfast only once but it was pretty memorable.

United KingdomGiven that I visited during low season, it was expectedly very quiet (quite eery at night time) with the hotel restaurant and rooftop jacuzzi not open.
Beautifully modern hotel set within walking distance to the port. A more expensive option on the island but was overall good value. One of the hosts even drove me the 2 minutes to the port when I checked out, which was very kind of them. Greeted by friendly staff who did not speak much English but tried their best to communicate and showed me around. I got upgraded to a room with a sea view which was lovely. Ample amenities provided and coin laundry is available. Walking distance to the convenience store, restaurants and even Furuzamami beach. I rented a bicycle from the unmanned hut around the corner to get around, although I would recommend finding somewhere that offers e-bikes given all the hills!

There is only few options to stay at Zamami and this is the best opption. Its newly renovated, only with few rooms (5 I think) but it has all what you need and more. Staff was going beyond the ususal duties to help us out and accomodate any of our needs. Rooftop terrace with nice jacuzzy for colder days and pool in warm days were great. Restaurant offers breakfast, even thou it was only one meal/plate but it was delicious. In the evening restaurant offered hotpot with okinawa beef which was delicious.
