Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe capsules were a little bit short for me, but I am also 1.95 m tall, so I do not think this issue will apply to most people. Also, having only one power outlet in the capsule is somewhat inconvenient, but that is standard for capsule rooms. (Also, the point I made above about walking distance could be a negative for some people.)
The quality-to-price ratio is among the best of capsule hotels I have been too. Also, the interior design is quite warm and still feels like an actual hotel despite the capsules, and the overall layout of the 2nd floor (which was the capsule floor) was convenience for accessing toilets, lockers, and other facilities easily from your capsule. Lastly, the location was "close" to many of the key sightseeing spots "near" Yamaguchi Station (quotation marks used because they are walkable, but only if you like walking between 10-20 minutes to move between different spots). But if you plan on walking everywhere, it is the best location you can get.

PolandI enjoyed myself and didn’t encounter any problematic situations/issues.
I think this is one of few hotels in Yamaguchi proper, it towers above other buildings in town. Doesn’t look very enticing at first, has kind of a retro vibe, but it is actually very comfortable. The room is really big for Japanese standards and has all the necessary amenities (fridge, kettle, tv set etc.). Breakfast was included in my rate, and it was Japanese and yummy - the same every day (which I didn’t mind). The staff is very helpful, despite limited English. You can borrow bicycles from the hotel for free. The location is great to explore on foot everything that is of interest in town and in the nearby Yuda Onsen. A 10-minute walk from the train station.

AustraliaThis feels like a 1980's hotel but it is really well cared for and immaculate. It was a bit like a time warp.
The location, close to the Memorial Church of St Francis Xavier. Extremely good value for money.

SpainNothing.
Really nice capsule hotel, with separated areas to ensure that everyone can rest and have some privacy. I was carrying a big backpack when I arrived, so the staff gave me two lockers without even needing to ask, and without extra charge, which was really nice.

JapanA complimentary bottle of water would be welcome, but there were plenty of vending machines on-site.
For a hotel by a main road it was surprisingly quiet. Staff were polite and friendly. The bed was quite comfortable and the room had decent amenities. Very clean.

IsraelIt was a bit hot (air conditioning), and the toilets are a bit further away from the capsules area (compared to the showers.
I stayed in the capsule room. I was surprised to so he spacious everything is. It was clean, and in a great location for taking the bus to Hagi. And it is cheap!

Hong KongI stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in a single room. There was only one option of breakfast and the breakfasts in the four mornings were same. Also the quantity of the breakfast was quite small and was not enough for me.
The surround was quite quiet and had nice sights and views. It was free to rent bicycles to customers.

Clean and comfortable rooms and beds, multiple sets of shower rooms and sinks. The rooms are also well insulated and sound proofed. Overall a very enjoyable stay, definitely one of the most enjoyable capsule type room I’ve stayed. Property is also located close to the train station and many restaurants and convenience stores are also within walking distance.
