Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandThe room size. I didnt expect it to be that small. Out of my whole trip and 6 different hotels i have stayed in this was the tinest.
I got the triple room and was surprised how tiny it was. There was no room to move. Suitable for 2 people but not for 3 (who had lots of luggage). Was nice and clean, had everything you needed. Free buffet breakfast which was amazing and free alcoholic drinks between certain times which was a really nice touch. Nice hot pool, which I did try once but in middle of night as you go in naked and im not keen been naked around other females. Handy location to Peace museum, shops, transport etc.

United KingdomThe room is absolutely tiny for 2 adults with large luggage. It felt so claustrophobic because our suitcases were in the way of the only free space available (near the bathroom door walkway). We stayed in smaller sqft accommodation that felt less cramped due to clever use of space.
Convenient location, great free bar between 6-9pm with lots of drink choices / branded spirits to make your own cocktails. Perfectly basic "base" for exploration of Hiroshima and Miyajima island etc., especially if you won't be in the room for long.

AustraliaThe room was clean and well-appointed but a very tight squeeze for 3 adults. For 2 adults, the room and bathroom size would be just adequate.
Super Hotel is a modern, well-located hotel. The onsen was a great way to end the day, and the buffet breakfast a great way to start it. It is a short walk from okonomiyaki restaurants and the Hiroshima historical district easily accessible by foot.

United KingdomHotel very focused on business guests, nice but very functional. Breakfast finishes dead on 8.30am, not great if you're on holiday, or did a lot of travelling the day before. None of the breakfast items were labelled so if you aren't familiar with the cuisine or not a native Japanese speaker, you have no idea what is on offer and their ingredients. The staff were polite full stop. Functional is what I would say, even though the amenities are decent, not particularly warm, friendly, or overly helpful for visitors new to the area, but polite and functional. Missed opportunity to carry some helpful literature or maps of the area for tourists. I hadn't realised when I booked but when I ventured out for an evening meal I realised this area seemed to be red light district. It was a bit uncomfortable and I decided to stay out of the area the next two nights and explored other areas of the city, only came back when I had to.
Nice facilities, amenities and clean comfortable rooms even though tiny bathrooms and limited space in rooms, it was perfectly functional. The hot springs bath is a nice touch but I didn't end up making use of it due to the rules (no clothing wasnt my thing). Not too far from a sightseeing bus stop to get to Hiroshima station or the peace museum.

United KingdomA great hotel in a convenient location. The staff at the front desk have been very helpful and even provided great tips about where to eat! The cleaning crew keeps the place spotless and the breakfast team ensures you kick off your day with a wonderful meal. I personally liked the area and found it easy to use the hotel as my base while exploring Hiroshima. The hotel has many amenities to make your stay a comfortable one and I loved the variety of pillows available.

SingaporeI didn’t realise it was right in the middle of the red light district. Not the most accessible location as well, quite far from any train stations.
Very good for short stay. The onsen is small but nice to have and the breakfast is decent. Have welcome drinks too if you are into that. Nice amenities given as well.

AustraliaI would not call this a "dislike", it's more of a caveat. You need to be aware that you will need to catch a streetcar from Hiroshima station to downtown Hiroshima, then walk about 5 minutes to the hotel. I would not recommend walking to the hotel from Hiroshima Station, which is what I did with two pieces of luggage, .that took me 40 minutes, which was my error. So, a reminder to definitely use the streetcar.
The hotel had a small but nice natural hot spring bath, which I liked using. Also, for the guests of the hotel, there was a welcome bar where serve cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks were free. The hotel also uses a electronic key pad instead of a hotel room card, which is a nice feature. Of further note, the hotel was located in a night club/relaxation venues, which revealed the hedonistic side of prim-and-proper Hiroshima. There were all sorts of people, of all ages, from Japanese business people to European-Anglophile families staying the hotel. The hotel and location would most certainly be a dream for the 20-35 year old market, but it will suit people of all types.
