Only remote contact, no receptionut that seems normal in Japan. Emailed threat of fining us 5000yen if we'd check out after 10. Pantry kitchen is hardly equipped, no utensils like cutlery, plates, scissor etc. All info printed out in the room was only in Japanese. Bin was tiny but extra small refuse bags were provided. Only Japanese TV offered and TV was on an impossible angle to view from the beds; right above the kitchen table.

Very clean, very new and well kept, spacious for Japanese rooms, fantastic hi-tech bed and mattress, hi-tech comfy bidet toilet, small restaurants and 7-11 and streetcar nearby, quiet, large fridge, nice extras like toiletries, pyjamas etc. Extremely detailed info re how to get there etc was provided beforehand

Not a negative, but this is a hotel room so not set up for cooking. The self check-in is temperamental.

The property is set up as apartment style accommodation with a cooktop etc but there was no cooking gear or crockery or cutlery apart from tea/coffee cups. The inclusion of these items would have made the stay even better. That being said there was a daiso just down the street where we were able to purchase a small frypan and some other items. Although the bedding set up was adequate for our needs, we believe that the space could have been better utilised to include a little lounge area and some privacy while sleeping.

The property was on the largish side compared to others we had stayed in. Location was fantastic being easily accessible by streetcar from Hiroshima station. A convenience store was right across the street as well as access to many close restaurants.

They refused to help me with the checking and asked me to call a phone number. However, I don't have a phone line to call, so I had to go to find a public phone at 9 pm to call them and receive help. Worst experience. It took me more than an hour to get to the room. They alleged I didn't send the information about my passport, and I have the screen; it was there. Super bad service

The tv was in an inconvenient place. I didn't like sitting in the backless kitchen chairs. I'd have liked another tv to watch from the beds. The door opened in a way that made it hard to enter/exit the room while taking off and putting on shoes. I didn't like the key system at first, but it was rather convenient. I'd still prefer to have at least two keys.

I didn't like the fact that they made us send our passport pictures before check in, then take passport pictures at check-in on the check in machine box and then call a person and AGAIN show our passports.. seems excessive and unnecessary.

I liked this flat/studio very much!! The beds were super comfortable and they reclined..fancy and nice! The room was extremely clean.. the small touches were very nice.. location is good.. close to the tram stop and a 20-30 min walk away from the main atractions..

There were no windows, so felt a little institutional. However, the lights could be dimmed and create a tiny bit of ambience.

It was easy to find, plenty of instructions (maybe too many - the amount of content was a bit overwhelming). Good location, easy walk to tram and same tramline to the JR Station or Atomic Bomb Domb.

We couldn’t get contact with anyone. We tried finding personally and through the check in automat as well. We couldn’t leave our bags there after checking out.

The check in was a bit of a nightmare though. Even though we filled all the forms with the passports, we still had to do it again with a machine when we arrived.

Fantastic room and good communication with the manager of the place. Room was lovely and new. It had a cooker but no cooking pans or utensils, which was a bit of a shame as the space was great. It didn't have a toaster either which would have been great. Nice and close to the Peace memorial and the Museum and plenty of buses and electric trains to take you to the JR Train station, which is about 30 minutes by bus.

As other reviewers have said, the check in process was a nightmare. Despite providing photos of our passports through the link previously, I provided them again through the camera at check-in and then again via email as requested by the person you talk to (virtually) at check-in. So needlessly complicated. Then again at check out I had to click on the check in link to get the code to put the room card in the lock box. Why?? Apart from that, the room was spacious for the four of us and 20 mins walk from the Peace Park, with a 7/11 on the doorstep. Only other complaint is the pillows - too big and hard, with hard bits on one side, but I'm starting to think that is standard for Japan!! Lots of amenities provided eg toothbrushes, coffee, etc. Overall fine apart from check in

The main downside was the check-in process; I had to manually add passport photos even though I added them ahead of time online. This took longer than anticipated but wasn’t a dealbreaker. On a minor note, the windows in the room were small and didn’t let in a lot of natural light.

This is a fantastic hotel located in the Takanobashi area just a short streetcar ride away from the Peace Park, Atomic bomb dome, and Hondori shopping area. The rooms are bigger than a typical Japanese hotel and feels just right for Western/American standards. Hotel is relatively new and rooms were very clean and included standard amenities. The 7/11 across the street was super convenient! Really great value considering the room size. Didn’t have any issues with noise like others have mentioned.

Check-in process was terrible. Even if sent all the necessary personal details in advance, we still had to put them into the system after arriving. The touch screen of check-in machine (there is no reception) was extremely unresponsive and the whole process took way to long. It's definitely not something you want to face when you're tired after long journey.

Neat and tidy apartment in very convenient location. Equipped in all necessities.
