There are only a few washing machines available for guest use, so it can be hard to get one during busy times. If you’re staying longer or relying on laundry facilities, some planning might be needed.

The Blossom Kumamoto has become my go-to hotel whenever I visit the city. The location right next to Kumamoto Station is unbeatable—super convenient for trains, trams, and local buses, with shops and restaurants just steps away. The rooms are always spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The bed is very comfortable, and I love the modern bathroom with its rainfall shower and deep soaking tub. After a day out, the public bath is a relaxing bonus that feels more like a quiet retreat. Staff are polite and efficient, and the whole hotel has a calm, peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. It’s everything I look for in a stay—comfort, convenience, and a touch of understated elegance.

The Blossom Kumamoto is conveniently located right outside the JR Kumamoto Station. It gives you easy access to the tram station and train station to get around. It is also located right above AMU Plaza should you need to do any shopping. The staff are welcoming and greet you enthusiastically when they see you at the lobby. The breakfast buffet staff also recognised me and would usher me to the seating area I preferred. That definitely added to the homely touch. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and had a good mix of local food which I appreciated. The public bath had a sauna which made it really relaxing to go to. The room was spotless and well-designed. The layout enabled me to open my luggage and still have space to lounge, eat and watch the view. Worth it!

Facility is a few steps from the Kumamoto Station entrance. Easy for making day trips and accessing the city. Trams get the guest to city attractions and excursions easily. The staff is top notch, well-trained, highly respectful, courteous, efficient, and capable. Breakfast was ample and delicious with great variety. Onsen was modern and well-maintained. With a private entrance, the hotel occupies the top three floors of a high-rise shopping mall.

The changing area at the public bath smells like wet dog, not very pleasant. Maybe it’s a chemicals reaction gone wrong with the fragrance system.

It is in the mall, and on top of the JR station, tram stop is right outside of the doorstep. vey good location, the staff members were very friendly and parking was convenient too.

Bedsheets need not be changed every day but the bed should be made each day in order to look tidy. It wasn't the hotel's fault and some hotel guests that we came across were quite loud and rude.

The restaurant was full with a large group of businessmen, and we were unable to reserve a table. However, we found a lovely Italian restaurant down a few levels on the floor with numerous restaurant options.

Where do i start? Kumamoto isn't a city with much to do so it was just a short stay for us before moving to Kurokawa Onsen. But the Blossom made us yearning to stay longer. It truly lives up to their rating, gorgeous lobby with attentive service one would expect, awesome location connected to the mall with a supermarket which offers HUGE variety of food and able to dine inside with ample seats and microwaves. The welcoming cosy entryway flooring in the larger than average sized rooms with such comfy beds are spotless just top off the day knowing a good rest is imminent.

We couldn't stay longer.

From the start, this feels no less than a 5-Star hotel. The hospitality, service, everything felt so special. Breakfast was terrific and a great way to start the day. Absolutely, no complaints. We love Kumamoto and the Blossom was a big part of that, we look forward to visiting again. Although we could hear a little from the train station, it really didn't bother us. The convenience of being so close to the train station was a huge bonus. Room size was comfortable, love how the shower, sink and toilet were all separated.

Great location, love the room, love the onsen, love the free Nespresso coffee and also the washer/dryer. The status of the onsen, breakfast and washer/dryer were updated at the TV so we could check status before going down.
