Everything was perfect

We had the pleasure of spending a night in this wonderful BnB, and from the very first moment we felt welcomed into a spotless and cozy place. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, with all the comforts we could need: two very comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, and a perfectly functional shower. The design of the house was just as impressive — modern, warm, and very much in line with our taste, making us feel instantly at home. I must highlight the incredible cleanliness: I am usually not comfortable walking barefoot in most places, but here I had no hesitation at all. And last but not least, the hosts. Two truly kind, gentle, and caring people who not only spoke excellent English (which made communication so easy), but also took the time to share a lovely conversation with us — together with their adorable little dog who completely stole our hearts. Thank you so much for making our trip to Japan even more special. We will carry this memory with us. Love from Italy 🤍

The shuttle bus left too early and late in the day. It was too early as you arrived prior to lift opening and it left after the main lifts closed which made it a long day on the ski field.

Lots of room and a large fridge and microwave for food.

No coffee! Option of buying a packet of pods but I didn't need that many. And proper breakfast bowls would have been helpful.

Very clean and freshly renovated, rooms are spacious and beds are firm. We had a great dinner nearby, opposite the 7-11 so overall it was a pleasure to stay for a night.

Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Hubert put guest satisfaction above all else. The room was very comfortable and clean, had every amenity we needed and we were asked on what else we needed to make the stay better, this location is a 10/10 for traveling to the area for snowboarding/skiing or sight seeing!

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. If I had to nitpick, footsteps upstairs can sometimes be heard audibly at night.

Fantastic location, 10 minutes drive from rusutsu. We drove and there was an allocated parking spot for us. Owners Winnie & Hubert were fantastic and very friendly and accommodating. The place is freshly renovated and everything is in tip top condition and super clean. Rooms have basically everything you could need or ask for. There's a coin laundry as well as a drying room for your gear. We stayed in the twin room which is on the ground floor and it was plenty big. Absolutely fantastic value.

I would suggest freeing up more space in the room. We stayed in a 6-ppl room, but there was really not enough room to unfold our luggage cases and all sat at the table to eat. Perhaps using it as a 4-ppl room, or setting up some tables and chairs in the public space will be helpful.

The Lobs is a great cost-efficient accommodation option if you wanna ski with limited budgets in Rusutsu. Our hosts have been very helpful, driving us between the guesthouse and the resort and giving advices. Definitely recommend this place to ski lovers who don't need high-class but down-to-earth services.

The hosts Winnie and Hubert were outstandingly responsive and attentive to our needs over the duration of our stay. The free shuttle to and from Rusutsu resort was an especially fantastic service and the facilities within the room met all of our needs.

Hubert and Winnie couldn't have been more helpful and courteous as hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. I had an issue with my hire car and without Winnies help I would have been completely lost.

Rusutsu is a 10-minute drive away from Kimobetsu, where The Lobs is. Many of the restaurants at the resort close at 3p or open at 6 pm, which means there is not much food option if we finish snowboarding and then take the 5p shuttle back to Kimobtsu. The little town has two izakayas which didn't open very often due to winter vacations. The Lobs offers room service which we didn't know about til later. So we had quite a few seven-eleven dinners.

The Lobs is like a snowboarder's grand hub for snow adventures at Rusutsu. Our hosts were more than accommodating: shuttling us to and from the resort every day. Our room was incredibly clean and comfortable, filled with modern amenities like a smart TV, fast internet, and a kitchenette. The communication and logistics were great and super easy. We felt very cared for and we made new friends with the hosts and other snowboard guests. We were super grateful for our host taking us around the mountain for a morning, which set us up well for getting to know the off-piste options that are incredibly fun.

Location in Kimobetsu is not a tourist friendly town. Very few restaurants and no alternative travel options. It was perfect for my needs but if in search of a resort experience or iff traveling with a large party I might look elsewhere.

Clean, well-furnished, comfortable. Hosts were very attentive and accessible. Host-provided shuttle was very nice. Perfect for a small party (2-4) to snowboard Rusutsu.

That I couldn’t stay longer

Mate it had everything… big comfy beds big screen tv ,heated floors, big enough fridge for the price we got allot more value Toilet shower was the best of all the places we’ve stayed in Japan affordable accommodations by far the lobbs was the best!!! Not to say the other places weren’t good I’m definitely coming back To add the hosts Hubert and Winnie they were awesome they made our trip to rusustu that much better like a family feel love those guys!!! We had the most epic week epic pow !!!

Hosts are a super friendly couple who are on-site and happy to help or offer recommendations. Check-in was super easy (door code into room) and hosts are super communicative and very responsive. Room is large, clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy. WiFi works great. Shower gets hot with great water pressure. Room also has microwave and TV with netflix. Parking is available in the driveway. Location is 10 min away to Rusutsu and 30-40min to Niseko for skiing, super convenient. Thank you Winnie for being so welcoming!

It is very close to Rusutsu and Niseko. Rooms are newly renovated, got big TV, Nespresso machine, smart home lightings, even Alexa! all very high-tech and comfortable beds. The host is super friendly, speaks Japanese, English and Cantonese, makes us feel at home. We’re definitely coming back in winter!

Everything is perfect!

The facilities and room are amazing! Impeccable cleanliness and accommodating host on site. Strategic location where you can easily get to Rusutsu, Kutchan, Niseko and Sapporo by bus! There is also a common area where you can chill and rest with some warm light and beanbags. Every room has a toilet and shower room and the room is spacious, new and clean.
