How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewGreat location, right next to the underground exit. The USB A port alongside the plug socket was useful with charging multiple devices. The bed was comfortable and the personal AC was nice. I enjoyed the amenities provided- toothbrush, razors, new towels every morning, pocket tissues. The staff were super friendly too.
While the bathroom area is mostly clean and fine for most people, I am particular about hygiene and I didn't enjoy the communal bathroom area all too much

Verified reviewThis conveniently situated hotel had everything we needed. Rooms are small and bathrooms are shared but everything was new and very clean. There’s a common area downstairs and also some washing machines (although they were pretty busy during our visit). There are multiple restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel.

The floors carpets are old and very smelly , I would say stinky. Not present to enter this small room with bad smell each and every day. And the bedsheets are moving non stop as they are with no adage rubber The man shower room is at the entrance floor of the building so every person going to the only elevator would see you coming out of the shower door, zero nice feeling . Sorry.

Verified reviewLocation is perfect distance from the main hubs of the city. 20 second walk from the subway line. Offered a high quality breakfast at an eatery very close to the hotel. Facilities were well maintained.
There is an inconvenience in having to change floor for the showers, but for the price, location, and quality of facilities, it makes sense.

Six years ago we stay in The Pocket hotel and it was perfect. For it we had highter expectations. Unfortunatelly now are another location of hotel, in another district. Breakfast is poor, not tasty also for me. Noise about trafic. No iron in hotel...

Verified reviewVery recommended, the hostel is right next to a metro station and the bathrooms are extremely clean and well organised. Women showers are situated on a women-only floor. Each shower is an individual cubicle with a separate dressing area to be able to change comfortably. Outside the cubicles, there was a big area with individual sinks to dry hair or do skincare/makeup comfortably. Towels and pijamas are included and can be changed daily. There is space between the tatami and the floor to be able to store suitcases. We stayed 5 nights and have been very happy.
It was a bit difficult to get laundry done as there were just four machines and a lot of demand.

The cafe where breakfast was served had different options for non-hotel guests such as salmon. I think my family would have preferred that. I never got the email qr code to check in automatically.
