Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe beds are uncomfortable. Very thin and firm.
The room service is amazing! 24 hours and everything is delicious. The bathroom was large so was the room.

New ZealandI used this place as normal hotel. Some couples mainly use as LOVE hotel. I found there is more Pros than Cons. There is huge Jacuzzi which normal hotel dont have. Also there are more amenities, water server, light setting, welcome drink machine at entrance and late check out time ( NOON!!). And there is convenience store and 24/7 fast food Japanese restaurant too in 5 min on foot. There is some Cons like that you have to call each time when you get out from the room and going in the room to unlock( which is not annoying me though). It is close to Shin Yokohama Shinkansen station but it is better to check in advance which entrance of bullet train station to use and which route to use as it is not super simple. I found it much cheaper to stay compared with the other hotels so i think this is quite unique place to stay with reasonable price.

SingaporeThe room door is locked automatic, it can only be unlocked by staff. It's slightly inconvenient that we have to inform the front desk whenever we need to enter or exit our room.
1) Great location for anyone attending events at Nissan Stadium, and it's pretty near to the subway station as well. 2) Toilet flushing malfunctioned during my stay, they responded quickly, fixed it right away after informing in the morning. 2) Love the water dispenser provided in the room :) Save the trouble of carrying bottles of water from convenience stores. 3) They deliver breakfast to room, unlike the usual hotel breakfast buffet style. There are two options available, japanese and english style. Enjoyed the breakfast very much :)

PolandSince it is a love hotel, the key/card system for your room is not what you would expect- you need to leave it at the reception when you leave and then when you get back, they need to open the room for you. It was very confusing, especially since they do not speak any English at all. The bed was unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable.
First and foremost this is a love hotel so be mindful of that, but it cannot be beaten price-wise. The facilities are excellent, huge rooms (biggest we've seen in Japan) with jacuzzi bathtub, in-room vending machine, hot/cold water dispenser, microwave and so on. The hotel is close to Shin-yokohama station and to the Ramen Museum (must see!).

JapanIt was not clear from reviews this was a love hotel. I was disappointed I was able to book this when I had indicated I would have a child with me. The bed, though spacious, was quite uncomfortable, and the shower was not clean. Don’t recommend for families.
Spacious room. They stored our luggage prior to check-in. Just a short walk from the station.

United KingdomThe room was filthy. Mould was evident on the bathroom tiles and around the toilet. Staff refused to offer an alternative room and we were told all rooms are the same. The room had not had a thorough cleaning in a long time. Thick dust on shelves and the bedding had clearly not been changed as there were multiple hairs in it. If we hadn't been checking in so late (23:00), with an early flight the next morning, I'd have found another hotel. This is a "love hotel", actively promoting a pay-by-the-hour service. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.
This hotel is very convenient for access to Shin-yokohama station

ChileIt’s a sex hotel, not even remotely advertised like that on booking. Condoms, lube, tissues, adult VOD. Room was DIRTY, sheets didn’t even look changed. Mattress was basically a rock, never had I ever slept on something that hard in a hotel. Room locking was pretty weird. Staff spoke little english, but thats understandable. Would never ever come back.
Relatively close to shin yokohama

United Arab Emirates- no lifts going to the reception, lift only starts from 2nd floor up, you have to carry your luggages through 2 flights of stairs, so bear that in mind - for the breakfast, this is what disappointed me a lot. it said breakfast is included, so i asked for it, and for most of my experiences in japan, we can just order the included breakfast. we talked through a translator and i said it was free on the listing, then they gave me a menu. i chose 2 items and they said the other i need to pay, which i thought meant there is a cap for the spending (900yen), so i chose 2 items of the same price. then upon checking out (which is a little of an inconvenience because their POS machine were a bit faulty, you need to use their ATM machine like to self-checkout). they asked us to pay for the breakfast :( and though i said that it included on the booking, they said that it should've been preordered. things like these are initially discussed upon checking in, but we were not told. also, the morning we ordered the breakfast, they could've have told that. because if that is the case, we could've just went out and just buy our own breakfast for a cheaper price. we cannot say it was a language barrier because upon payment, they perfectly explained to us that the "free" breakfast needs to be preordered. such a let down
location was perfect for a concert in Nissan Stadium, only about a minute walk

United StatesOur family stayed here and didn’t know it was a love hotel. The bedding was a 2 inch mattress on top of a box spring. The mattress underneath was dirty. I would call it a rated R hotel for kids. Condoms and porn videos when turning on TV. Coat $300 for a night!!!
Kids likes free candy and drink inside.
