Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaSuprised there was an extra charge for the sauna when I considered the price to be quite high already. Plus extra charge for more firewood. Would have been nice to have had enough provided.
Amazing view of Mount Fuji from Jupiter tent. Everything you could need for a relaxed nights stay. Beautiful food for the BBQ. One of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

IndiaBreakfast options could be better.
The self grill food option was very good , it made us connect more as a family and cook together, I did not specify the vegetarian meal preference for one family member so they were unable to provide much , however the manager on site made some vegetarian rice which was helpful.

United StatesMinor things: Not enough coffee. We had four people and there were only four cups of coffee in the room, hence no one could have a second cup of coffee in the morning. If we drank the coffee on the first day, then we wouldn't have any on the next day. Wish they had provided more. Lights off at 9pm. They turned the lights off at 9pm while we were cleaning up the dinner table, so all the sudden it became all dark. Luckily we did bring our own lights. Going to the restroom at night also required having a flash light. It would be better if they would remind customers to prepare their own flash lights. The dinner set we purchased from them was very beautiful, good quality and tasty, however there was too much food and we felt bad wasting some as we couldn't finish them all. We were traveling so we couldn't really take them home. Some of us don't eat beef and some don't eat cheese. It would be great if they could have some options for people to choose and customize, to minimize food wasting.
The room was very spacious and comfortable with a nice layout of a huge window facing Mt. Fuji, having breakfast by that window was one of the highlights. I also like how the shower and toilet were outside of the tent yet very close, giving us the feeling of camping. The BBQ grill setup was also very nice for having outdoor yet comfortable self-cooked meals, even if it was raining! Overall it gave us the taste of camping in a very comfortable way. We also like how there were tall trees in that mountain, so it felt like closer to the nature.

United StatesI didn't love being charged for more firewood, and then not given a starter or kindling so with nobody available in the morning we couldn't get a fire going, but that's a small nit in an otherwise lovely stay.
The food was amazing, as was the location. Looking out onto Mt. Fuji in the morning was actually life-changing. I'm sure there are other places where you can have a similar experience, but I couldn't speak more highly to this one. Bathrooms were immaculate and a nice shower, which for a campsite (glamping) is saying something. Wagyu beef and pork chops, sweet potatoes and rice, veggie dish, can't say enough good things about the food, and breakfast/coffee service was lovely as well. People/staff couldn't have been nicer.

SingaporeToilet a little far cos of the cold weather, if only they are inside the dome but guess it’s part of the glamping experience.
Perfect view of Mount Fuji! We’re lucky to see a clear view on the 2nd day, first and 3rd were totally fog out. Comfortable beds and the experience of camping, cooking the food (the staffs already prepared most of it), starting a fire, watching the stars.

AustraliaIt is a camp & clamping site, so toilets & showers were a bit out the way. We booked a dome so if you wanted to go to the restroom at night, it was cold!
The hospitality, comfort, and service exceeded my expectations, making my visit truly enjoyable. Since the grounds were 15mins drive away from town, Staff got out of their way to drive us to places eg. Rope way, we wanted to buy an extra suitcase on our last day, they rang around for us before driving us there then back again. Luggage transfer was arranged by them on our request without any hesitation. Fantastic food, too much for my hubby, myself & my 6yr old to eat so we saved it later for our snacks. Brought some marshmallows to burn over the campfire. Amenities were clean. Shout out to Mr Awa, who went above and beyond to help make our stay memorable, plus his English was top notch which helped a lot.

SingaporeThe shower room and toilet facilities is a few steps away from the dome or tent and could be a bit challenging in winter or during the night. But is a fun experience in itself!
We booked a dome and premium tent. Both experiences were wonderful! Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Half board provided was superb and scrumptious! I will actually go back just for the meals!! Kudos to the chef!

The campsite is picturesque, a million dollar view of mt Fuji and the forest around! We stayed at the dome and it was so comfortable, warm, had everything we needed. The shared bathrooms are very clean. The meals deserve separate attention - wagyu beef, sashimi, Japanese specialty dishes… so delicious and the portions were huge. A cute and pleasant surprise was a projector in the dome, we could relax with a movie after an active day outdoors! The staff were really going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! They also provided a shuttle to pick us up to and from the Kawaguchiko station, and one extra time when the traffic in town was problematic and the public buses weren’t working.

AustraliaWe loved everything about our stay. Highly recommend. The glamping domes are perfect, so much amazing food, more than enough for our group of six. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Picked us up from the train station and looked after us so well. With a great view of Fuji thrown in! Only disappointment we didn’t book an extra night to take advantage of the cycles on offer and explore the lakes
