1. The electronic lock on the door was difficult to use. A simple instruction explaining a two- or three-finger operation would have been helpful. 2. The automated check-in system allowed us to check in early, but a staff member still attempted to charge us an early check-in fee. This seems to defeat the purpose of an automated system.

Too few hooks to hang things on..

Nice, well-designed big room, with good finishes, and close to station. The rate was very reasonable too.

Super basic amenities… they don’t even have teaspoons in the room with the mugs. We had to ask for plastic spoons, which they did bring and we really appreciated but I was surprised they weren’t in the rooms.

Super convenient location right across from the train station. Great for our last night in Japan so we could just head to the station in the morning. Overall clean and comfortable.

Convenient location across from Kyoto train station which also contains a large shopping mall. It's a small hotel with just a few rooms per floor. It felt very private. Rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

It was great actually no complaints, only wish there was a microwave for us to heat up food and it would be perfect.

Due to proximity to the station, it was a bit noisy, but nothing that a pair of earplugs wouldn´t fix

We stayed there 4 nights. The room was very big and comfortable. Water bottles were provided daily. It was very convenient to move around the city with train station 2. minute walk away and many bus stops around. I was able to store luggage until my shinkansen out of Kyoto.

The is no one in the entrance. Every assistance or question you need to go to the entrance and call. A bit annoying.

Wonderful hotel, almost all digital and self managed. Great location and relatively big rooms.

No ice machine or microwave. No safe .

Very spacious room with a lounge. Opposite the station. Plenty of food places to eat around the area. Quiet considering where it’s located. Small bathroom. There was a kettle in your room, small fridge.

They only thing I missed was a comfy chair to chill in; I found the sofa a bit hard.

This very new hotel was an unexpected gem. Located on the north east edge of Kyoto station right at the Porta exit A5 it has easy access to trains, busses and restaurants. The rooms are huge by Japan standards and are more like a studio than hotel room, with walk in rain shower and toilet with buttons (in English) coupled with a comfortable Queen sized bed, sofa and table. Access is by key code and there are only three rooms per floor making it very private. I loved it!

It would be great if the hotel can provide a phone in the room, so that we don't have to go downstairs every time just to call the staff. They didn't top up toilet paper for us for the first 2 cleanings. We had to ask for more toilet paper. We had a more thorough cleaning in the 3rd day, which was a surprise.

The room is spacious. They have everything. We also asked for umbrella and spoon. The staff was able to provide. Convenient location. We managed to deliver our luggage to the hotel before our arrival. The hotel was able to keep the luggage overnight for us.

There could have been a bit more lighting for shaving/putting on makeup. There is a light but we found it to be a little bit dim.

The room was very spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was very large. Location was great to also reach Nara and Osaka for day trips.

Always some street noise from the station. During our stay, there was construction nearby during the day. The hotel staff advised us and apologized fir the inconvenience.

Great location across from Kyoto station. Large room, with space for luggage and to relax. Keyless entry is nice. Great shower and body wash.

We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4 people and was really surprised about the size and the room amenities. It is bigger than the usual rooms that you will find in Japan. The room amenities were also well-curated. The hotel is also conveniently located right across Kyoto Station. It was easy for us to travel around Kyoto via bus and train. The staff was also helpful despite the communication barrier. I would definitely stay here again if we comeback to Kyoto.

Very little clothing or toiletries storage. Staff non-existent (self serve). Far from downtown.

Loved the shower, comfortable bed, easy check in and check out, easy access to the train station.
