The bathroom is downstairs and bedroom upstairs, I’m an elderly duck so a bit of a challenge at night.

Very cosy with plenty of space for three adults. Close to the station and all other interests. Host was easy to contact and got back quickly, very friendly. House was clean and had plenty of kitchen equipment.

Not really something we did not like but important to know: the bedroom is on the upper floor, while the toilet is on the lower floor. If it's cold outside, the hallway and the stairs get cold, and you need to pass through them to reach the toilet.

The traditional style of the house is evocative and perfectly merges with the surroundings. The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and everything works well. The location is also very good and close to everything else in the city center. The host is amazingly kind and super responsive.

I wish there was heating on the corridors, so it wasn't that cold when you walk from the kitchen/bathroom to the bedroom.

The room was very spacious, and the hosts were very welcoming, giving us gifts to fold origami with. The faculties were all new, and the overall house was very beautiful.

The place is 10 min away from the station and places to see within the area. Host is very welcoming. She ensures we are comfortable with the place and even checked on us everyday on anything we need. The place was very clean.

A little loud outside until the restaurant next door closes, but they thought to provide earplugs for that... Honestly the only downside to an otherwise perfect experience.

A little noise at night from neighborhood but didn't really bother us. And there were earplugs if needed.

Only negative for some people may be toilet and bath ground floor and sleeping upper floor.

Perfect location close to old Town, river and markets, yet not too far from station. Wonderful host. Beautiful restored Machiya with amazing attention to detail. Quiet area, yet not so quiet that you can talk freely in normal voice. Super comfy beds and top class tech.

The O2 tank took a huge amount of space, and thus it was tricky to find room for our 4 suitcases (because we weren't hauling them upstairs!)

It’s just the nature of that style home, but the hallways were very cold, but we didn’t have to sit in them, so it was not a problem.

Quiet location with Free Parking, and easy walk to old town. Very comfortable beds and nice linens. Host was very accommodating and got back quickly to all my questions. Best house slippers yet!

There was nothing to dislike.

The whole apartment is perfect and very nice. The host arranged every small thing very carefully. Very beautiful home. Everything is picture-perfect. There is a small kitchen and fridge which you can use. There is an O2 box also which looked fascinating. However, as my stay was very short, so I didn't have time to use it. A very large bedroom is on the 2nd floor. It has 1 double bed and 2 single beds, perfect for a family trip.

It’s the tiniest thing but the corridors are not heated and get very cold in winter.

Much better than we ever expected. Recently renovated 2 floor house. Incredible space, with kotatsu, huge beds, very well equipped with tea sets, rice cooker, etc. The hosts were everything you’d hope for. Super friendly, and offered a number of small gifts. The value for money was among the best I’ve experienced. 100% stay here if it’s available.
