JapanThe hotel seems to cater to guests who need to be away all day since it basically closes down for the cleaning period. I didn't expect to be prevented from entering my room though it wasn't being cleaned. That was quite inconvenient. Breakfast utensils were only chopsticks which isn't something my family is familiar with using, and substitutes weren't readily available.
The location is superb! Close to a mall, close to the station, close to a playground too.

Philippinesnone! that's what is amazing with this hotel.
We love this hotel, no frizz and fuzz, pure love for hotel stayers! Eight (8) days of stay in Japan (this is our first time in Japan) was truly memorable with our hotel stay contributing a lot. Towels are replaced everyday (lots of hotels don't do that anymore)... Much more, its a 2-minute walk to JR Sodegaura station and just a few steps from Sendo supermarket, 7-11 and other shops. Prices of food, items and souvenirs in Chiba are much cheaper compared at Tokyo. We really love its laid back environment far from Tokyo which is 1.5 hours by train (we dont mind the train ride, Japanese trains are prompt and clean). Hopefully by the 3rd or 4th time in Japan we can come back here again. Thank you so much TOYOKO INN - SODEGAURA,CHIBA and to its people, for our wonderful family stay.

JapanThe room wasn’t well ventilated. I felt slight nauseous inside the room because of smoking. I am a non-smoker, however, due to full occupancy I couldn’t get a non-smoking room. I wasn’t expecting the smoking room to have such strong smell of cigar and smoke. It made my stay uncomfortable.
The location is good and the staff are very friendly and hospitable.
