Our first room was on the 2nd floor and noisy. Luckily, they were able to switch us to the 5th floor which was great!

Beautiful hotel. Very zen. LOVED having the pool and hot tub. It was very refreshing after long hot days of travel!

It's pricey. I'd still say it's value for money, but it is not too far off being "too expensive" either.

Fantastic location with great facilities, and easy access to central areas of Tokyo . Loved staying by the pool - the entire floor was fantastic, and well served. The rooms were very nice, clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

I think the breakfast selection needed more variety. I was there for 3 days of the same breakfast and felt that there should be a Japanese option. Alos the room was rather noisy as I faced the road and cars were going all night. The pool area did not have sufficient loungers. For the price paid, I think some improvement can be made.

Amazing attention to detail that made the stay even more relaxing: turndown service, delicious complementary coffee in room, welcome drink, inventive and tasty cocktails in the guest exclusive hotel bar). The immediate surrounding area was very atmospheric and had plenty to do. Recommend getting a reservation at Fuku nearby in particular- we ended up going twice! Friendly and helpful staff who helped us organise reservations, luggage transfer, and gave tips (Tsubasa's 'plan your next day whilst relaxing in the hot tub' tip deserves a special mention). We would go back in a heartbeat (and hope to one day!)

Tough to book for a group because of the limited amount of rooms, be sure to plan in advance when booking multiple rooms

I was satisfied with my experience (nothing I did not like).

The property provided a tranquil space to experience the city. It was located in a beautiful area, where one could easily access Yoyogi park. All staff were incredibly helpful, kind and willing to ensure our stay was an amazing experience.

The room lacks storage; we had two carry-on suitcases, and one had to be on the floor. The sink water pressure as abysmal.

We liked the aesthetic of the room; the rooftop bar, and the location.

I would say that it is very very slightly overpriced.

I loved everything about this hotel. You are greeted warmly the moment you enter and the lobby smells incredible. the rooms are quite small but they’ve used the space efficiently! the bed was so comfy, the bathroom was incredible - it had amazing lighting and the amenities were so good. they also have turndown service so it was so nice to come back at night with small bites and tea with the pajamas and eye patches ready in bed. the staff are super friendly and helpful with everything!

Perfect Location (that side of Yoyogi Park is worth exploring! - lots of cute independent stores, cafes and good restaurants), everything else was perfect: extremely helpful staff who made us feel at home from day 1, room was beautifully decorated with top range amenities, rooftop pool and jacuzzi were perfect to relax after a long day walking around Tokyo! Highly recommend!

Park facing rooms on lower floors are a bit noisy. The windows are double paned but you still hear some cars passing by. Recommend getting a city facing room on a high floor. Room 504 is best.

Great location, off a really cute pedestrian only street. Rooms are small but well designed. Rooftop pool is beautiful. Pizza at restaurant is delicious.

This was not a dislike. But just a note that there is not a lot of room to have open suitcases, and many of the drawers were especially designed to hold very particular things (e.g., silverware, tea), so they weren't usable for other things. My partner and I actually loved this attention to detail and design. We are both tidy/organized people, so we managed well with some minimal rearranging of things.

This hotel is perfection. Location: a quieter part of Shibuya, across from Yoyogi Park. Though it does face a busier street, we couldn't hear it if the patio door was shut (it was hot in August, so we didn't have the door open). The facilities: The rooms were small but really well-designed; all of the space of the room was used efficiently. Really beautiful, minimalist aesthetic. The bathroom sink area is behind the bed, but the toilet and shower are both in little rooms with heavy glass doors, so there was ample privacy. Great water pressure and fancy Japanese toilets. Can't ask for more. The POOL! So nice to sit in the pool on a hot day and look at the trees from the park. Also, the scent they have in the lobby is so lovely. I found myself inhaling extra deeply every time I walked through it. The STAFF: Service in Japan is generally polite and attentive, but the staff at Trunk were exceptional. Definitely ask them for recommendations for restaurants; they will not steer you wrong. We were guided to excellent, small, authentic restaurants with mostly Japanese clientele. We were there for 7 nights, left to go to Hakone for 3 nights, then returned for another 4. We were so happy to return for the second leg!
