The one main complaint is the layout of the entrance to the bathroom/washer. There's a extremely small step so you can hit your foot if you're not careful.

Check-in was easy enough. The location was a great spot close to the UENO station and other convenience stores as well as the main streets. Space was ample enough for our family and they had a washer as well (Paid) if you need to use it. When we left, they were able to hold our luggage for a short duration which was nice.

Fantastic room with great natural light and small balcony. Brilliant location, quiet yet very close to Ueno and public transport. There was a convenience store closeby and could walk to cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable place to stay with our 8 year old daughter.

Nothing really. Direction wise may be a little confused on first day of stay . Too quiet maybe haha.

Quiet side of Ueno , not nearby the main shopping district. Short slow walk 5-7 mins to Ueno JR station. Check-in was smooth , Staff were kind and clear on instructions. House is slightly squeezed for family of 4 . Not much space for luggage . But consider it a stay only. There's basic kitchenette and supplies of cutlery , HOB & Microwave .,mini fridge , coin operated washing machine ¥300 per wash , but powder and basic toiletries . Bring own tooth brush set and towels as not supplied, but it's good. There is bath tub in the only toilet in the unit. There is ample hangers ( 10-12) in closet where you may stow two large luggage . Tv is also available local channel only Overall staff are friendly and accommodating. Allows safekeeping of bags on check out after 10am.

Great location, clean appartment, max. 10 minutes to near train station, many great bars and restaurants nearby. Personal was not really speaking english, but in the end it was no problem at all, they were all great. Appartment has the best futons we were able to tedy in Japan. Appartment is little smaller than it seems on the photos.

Comfortable apartment with balcony. Small apartment tower design allows great cross ventilation and sunlight access. Excellent location close to Ueno train station and several subway stations as well as many excellent neighbourhoods

Room so cold. The air conditioner doesn’t work well. Should be more details in email about the check in address is different place from the guest house. Don’t know how to check-in and we have been waiting for so long in a cold climate.

While the mattresses were comfortable, they didn't fold away like a futon so the place was very cramped for 4 people. It would be better suited for 2 people. Also there were no towels provided. We were lucky we had some but a nuisance if you didn't. Note while a washing machine is provided, you have to pay extra to use it. While some basic crockery is provided there were no knives, forks or spoons.

The location is great. It is close to a main station, the zoo and a large shopping area. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The beds were mattresses, so very comfortable.
