All staff struggled with basic English, however the google translator was very useful in getting past this issue. Once staff knew what we needed there was no end in the help they provided.

Breakfast was filling, nutritious, well presented and varieties of options. Staff were friendly, attentative and helpful.

Early check is not allowed (even by an hour) and the pillow is too soft.

Near to bus and train stations.

It was a nice place a bit out of the traditional Japanese tourist spots but it allowed for great connections with several locations north of Kyoto

It was a very nice hotel. They didn't have many options for food as the restaurant was closed and the cafe served food for very limited hours. I woke up to hearing someone's room door bell being constantly pressed early in the morning. Not sure why the rooms have doorbells I have never seen that at any hotel before. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Tight room but okay in comparison to others I've booked in Japan.

Central location. Next to station. Excellent breakfast. Wide variety of Japanese food at a food price. Helpful staff Restaurants nearby.

It’s a bit old and dilapidated, so I think it’s a bit overpriced. The rooms have been reformed but it’s still old underneath. The building on the outside is the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen haha, but that doesn’t really matter. That area of Maizuru feels pretty sad and a bit depressing (not the hotels fault of course).

The lobby and restaurant is pleasant, even though we didn’t eat at the restaurant. I can’t rate the bathhouse as I didn’t get to try it (the women’s times were a bit inconvenient for me).

Good hotel with nice staff. The twin room I had was quite big and I thought the Hotel was in a convenient location close to the station, supermarket and short walk to restaurants. The breakfast was reasonable for the price.

There is nothing interesting near the hotel and not many restaurants.

Location right next to Nishi Maizuru station. Looks old but relatively clean. Thank goodness the restaurant in the hotel serves good food because there's not many food options nearby.

Well it may not be a big deal but some hair sticks to the carpet.

It’s quite near the station and bus stop so it is convenient to go to tourist attractions. And the arrange of the room makes it wider in usage.

The property could do with refurbishment and the room had a bit of a stale smell to it - however easily resolvable by keeping the window open.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is directly next to the station, making it very convenient.

It would be unkind to complain about anything. Breakfast not included.

My room on the 6th floor was large, luminous, comfy and had great views of the city. This business hotel is a little older and the bathroom less perfect than in most of the chain hotels, but there is nothing to complain about really. Lighting could be better but the reading lights by the beds are perfect. Windows open. Less than 100 meters from the JR station. Spacious lobby.

It was value for money, albeit a little tired Only one pillow is a pain, but common in Japan, it seems for a single booking

The hotel is exceptionally located so close to Nishi-Maizuru station and especially to see all the eceptional local sites( exceptional temple compound) the area has to offer. It was great value for money for a single traveller, and the onsen was an added bonus.

    Nothing.

Next to the train station (if needed). Car park has a deal with the hotel, so ¥300 / day is great. Nice staff, low level of English spoken, but manageable. Room is of decent size, comfortable bed. Recommended.

The rooms were old (there was chipped paint on the doors) and you could hear people in the hallway. The room was fairly clean, but there was some dust (on the toilet control panel and behind the toilet).

The hotel was located right outside Nishi Maizuru station. It was also close to a drug store and convenience store. Beds were comfortable and there was a large bath available. Staff were very quick with checking in and out. Kettle, fridge, pyjamas, and amenities were provided.

It might be hard to contact the owner as we didn't paid for the phone calling plan in our simcard. But if you can use the phone call in Japan, this might not be problem.

The space we got is very big. The bathroom is superb. We're glad to stay here three nights and it save a lot of money.
