It was such a fantastic experience - wonderful early breakfast (fish, rice, green tea, salad, other little things and nibbles), outdoor and indoor hot spring baths, clean futon beds, quiet neighbours, free parking and nice restaurants around. Highly recommend staying there if you want to escape busy city life. It’s a very calm and peaceful place! Would love to stay there again, 10/10 :)

Can’t remember anything bad - even though this place might look a bit less modern than average places but the quality of service and hospitality is 10/10 :)

Takehashi, Hisako and the other staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and more. This property is location in an Olsen district of Izunokuni, where it is very quiet and peaceful. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was very good. Takehashi was kind enough to drive my luggage to another hotel nearby, as I had to switch properties part of the way through my stay in Izunokumni. And the Onsen was great.

In order: the breakfast, the staff, the onsen, the room, the location, the value for money. It was just a lovely place to stay.

Nothing. No notes, I hope it never changes :)

The Hot springs itself (men and women) were awesome. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was amazing. Nice clean private seating area to enjoy your breakfast. The staff is amazing. Very polite and efficient. The owner speaks very good English(very helpful for foreigners who don't understand/speak Japanese). Very good parking space. The timings for private reservations for the hot springs are convenient. Very clean toilet and shower area.

The futons, though covered with very clean covers, are very dusty and smell a bit. The toilet, though very clean, smells sometimes as there is no freshener. It would be nice if there were more options for breakfast. Some coffee pouches along with the green tea in the room would be nice.

Beautiful Ryokan in a slightly out of the way onsen district. Amenities are traditional but well kept or recently renovated. Makes for an enjoyable getaway removed from bustling touristy areas. You can reserve daily private use onsen slots with your family or fellow travelers. Food selections in the area are limited but good. (Sushi, soba, gyoza and more within walking distance. Close access to the Izu Panorama park which is a great way to spend a half day. I would recommend this place as part of a relaxing getaway more so than a tourist destination, but well worth it. Limited number of guest rooms so the onsen baths are not too busy and are well maintained with beautiful wood and stone designs. The outdoor bathing is wonderful in winter. Breakfast is a set meal in the morning but served in private rooms on the first floor with a nice ambiance, grilled fish of some type is always the main dish with plenty of variety around it.

I personally don't enjoy fish and got that for breakfast so we told them we will not be eating breakfast the next day. The staff was very nice and kind and actually gave us some fruits as our breakfast instead. Very considerate, hospitality was amazing!

The owners made me feel at home for a weekend break in the countryside ( the big surprise for me was that they speak very good English👌😀) . I was able to reserve the baths for a private session and fully enjoyed the traditional room and breakfast. The region is worth visiting more than I could do on my stay , but this Ryokan is a good base.

Onsen baths, both indoor and outdoor were lovely; clean, comfortable room; friendly staff. Good traditional Japanese breakfast.

Limited dining options in the area, so plan ahead if not eating dinner in the hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I knew no Japanese but had no issues during my stay. The onsen was incredibly relaxing and the amenities exceeded my expectations. I came to Japan looking for a traditional and relaxing onsen experience in a quieter part of Japan at a reasonable price and this checked all those boxes. I would definitely recommend to any traveler coming to Japan for a similar experience.

It is a little out of the way to get to, but I think that’s part of the appeal.

It was incredibly clean and the staff was really respectful. From three different hot springs, we could reserve one per night for our room. The breakfast was delicious too. Overall, 10/10.

Nothing comes to mind, except that the access was slightly far from the nearest station.

We had a wonderful time there. The staff of the hotel were so nice and sweet, smiling and caring. The room was big with a nice green view from a big window in a quiet neighborhood. There are 3 onsen in hotel. The breakfast was very good, tasty and plenty,it was very kind of the Sheff to make us vegetarian breakfast and different one in each day. We definitely recommend.
