Host was wonderful, and provided lots of information. We got to choose a different yukata for each day we were in Kinosaki, and we received separate yukatas for staying indoors for the night. As we are westerners, the host showed us how to properly wear them rather than leaving us to figure it out. We also received passes for the onsens for each day of our visit. The bathroom was luxurious, and many items were provided in case you forgot something - toothbrush, hair tie, razor, etc. The room was very cool and quiet.

Our stay at Terakawa’s beautiful ryokan in Kinosakionsen has been the highlight of our first trip to Japan. Everything about it is gorgeous, comfortable and a little bit of luxury! It is a one-room property so we felt very looked after. Our host Terakawa kindly fitted us with stunning yukata of our choosing upon arrival, to wear to the onsens each day. (Entry price to all six onsens in the town is included.) The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom with private onsen bath is gorgeous, and the location of the property (1 minute walk to Kinosakionsen Station) is right in the heart of everything in the town. The town itself is absolutely beautiful and we loved our stay there. Highly recommended!

Location 1 minute from train station. Easy to find, look at pic of shop front online. Host communicates via email prior to arrival. Rooms beautiful, Yakuta provided plus passes for onsens. Not a single complaint, the host is incredibly helpful. 👌

This was probably my favorite stay of our vacation! The owner was incredibly friendly and the space was beautiful and relaxing. I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Kinosaki and is lucky enough to find the booking available!

This was an excellent choice. The full experience. From a friendly welcome, being fitted with yukata to a traditional spacious apartment. Staying here is a great experience.

Wasn't sure about the entry through the fish restaurant but our host was there to give us a warm welcome and all went smoothly.

The location is excellent—peaceful, yet just a short walk from the public onsen, restaurants, and the train station. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Kinosaki Onsen. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, spotless, and well-located place with a personal touch. We’d love to come back someday!

You must enter through the restaurant entrance at the main street. An English name for the accommodation would help for orientation, especially for foreigners

We (a couple) stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. Our Japanese was not so great so he was more than happy to communicate with us via Booking.com and Google Translate. Our host even provided us to choose (from many options!!!) a yukata to wear around town and demonstrated the correct way to wear as it was our first time. The location was perfect-extremely close to the train station and Main Street, yet was peaceful and quiet. The traditional style room was BEAUTIFUL and the included amenities exceeded our expectations. A truly magical and memorable stay!

Beautiful, gorgeous, luxurious apartment on the main street in Kinosaki. The owner was very helpful and showered us with amenities. The bathroom in this apartment is like a five star resort hotel. If you want to stay in a Ryokan, this is not for you, but if you want a luxurious, quiet and comfortable experience. Stay here is if it available.

The location was great. Less than 5mins walk from train station. Host was very detailed and helpful.

Wonderful Japanese style room, every detail thoughtfully planned out. One of the most beautiful rooms we have ever seen. Close to hot springs, train station and a lot of restaurants and bars.
