    I could meet with a lot of wonderful people there. The location was the best, it's so close from the beach. You can see beautiful sunrise from the beach side.

    A little expensive if you book from this site.

    It was an amazingly communal space with chances to be involved and welcomed very warmly by the hosts. Being able to interact with the other guests over dinner was a very valuable experience, and I strongly recommend getting involved as much as possible

    Lovely stay along the prettiest stretch of coast. Host is super accommodating and an excellent cook (you should definitely take him up on the dinner offer). Hostel is clean and tidy with a fun atmosphere.

    It was right by the beach

    They weren’t very welcoming to foreigners

    Thank you for staying with us. We are also sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your stay. However, there is a big misunderstanding that we do not welcome foreigners, so we would like to explain a little. Our guesthouse holds a dinner party every day, attended by many guests. Many guests also stay in the living room after dinner until late at night, enjoying various conversations. You did not attend the dinner party because you did not have money. Of course, you are free to attend the dinner party, and even if you do not attend, you can relax in the common space. We told you this fact and offered to have fun together after dinner, but you stubbornly refused, and after dinner you spent the whole time alone swinging in a hammock outside or on the beach, hardly interacting with us at all. We tried to talk to you several times after that, but this is where it is difficult for us to judge, and some guests dislike excessive invitations, so we cannot be too persistent in inviting you. It seems to us that you were rather refusing to interact with people, especially with foreigners. By the way, on the day you stayed, there were about four other foreign guests, and together with many Japanese people, everyone enjoyed themselves regardless of nationality. We still exchange messages with many of those guests and have built good relationships with them. We have never rejected you. We wish you had been more open in your hearts and had been able to communicate with us. If we had done so, we would have been able to understand each other better. We are very sad that you expressed your dissatisfaction in a review after the fact, rather than expressing your request on the spot.

    You will be taken and returned to the airport. And believe us this is the only positive point. we don't understand how they have this rating on the website/app.

    The managers are hypocrites and don't like foreigners. They try to make as much money as possible on everything (change the price of water to make it twice as expensive as in the store or even the vending machine in front of the "guest house") for example. they will charge you 5000 yens if you are 5 minutes late at check out. no receipt, no official rules, pay what you are asked if you don't want to end up at the police station. or learn how to defend yourself in Japanese. Behind a mask of "omotenaishi" & friendly for ever, they will be rude and you will be in immediate conflict at the first opportunity. It's only for the camera and them Instagram. Tourist, especially european women must go elsewhere on the island. there are bigger, cleaner, more comfortable, with less insects and you can go to the beaches in 10 minutes by electric bike, car or scooter from the city. It is not worth choosing this **** house just because it is well located or cheap. Yoron is a great island with kind people. Or almost.

    Thank you for using our hotel. We are very surprised and disappointed to receive this review. We will provide additional explanations from the inn so that future guests will not be confused. First of all, we believe that the customer's biggest complaint is about the late check-out fee. Our inn's check-out time is 10:00, and in the event of a delay, we will charge a late fee in accordance with the accommodation terms and conditions. However, we only actually charge a late fee in extremely egregious cases, and we do not charge a late fee for a delay of about 5 minutes as the customer stated. (However, we would appreciate it if you would keep to the time.) In this case, the customer's review was not true, and there was a significant and egregious delay, so we explained the situation to the customer and charged a late fee. For this reason, we explained the late fee while showing them the accommodation terms and conditions, and the guest agreed at that point and paid it immediately. Naturally, we did not threaten the guests as described in the review, and did not issue a receipt as the guests did not request one. That is the outcome of this incident. In this case, we had to make our staff work outside of their normal hours, and we had to make them apologize when it was not necessary, and there were no circumstances that should have been taken into consideration by the guests who were delayed, so we decided to charge a late fee as compensation for these. We do not discriminate against foreigners as described in the review, and we will take the same measures if a similar incident occurs with a Japanese guest. The various rules exist to ensure that all guests and staff can have a comfortable stay, and we would appreciate your understanding that we will take firm action against those who do not understand this. As for the price of water as described in the review, although the 2x price is an exaggeration, we sell it at about 1.5x the price of the vending machine. However, while the vending machine sells 500ml of water, we sell 2L of water, and this is clearly stated. We do not sell at exorbitant prices. Finally. I understand that having to pay the late fee must have made you feel uncomfortable, but I think it's a shame for an adult to vent their frustrations by writing lies and negative comments in reviews. As the owner, I love traveling and have traveled to many countries. When I traveled, I always thought of myself as a representative of my country and was careful about how I behaved. By behaving well, more people will have a good impression of my country, and this will eventually be passed on to future travelers. And the opposite is also true. Since opening our guesthouse, many foreigners have come to visit, and they have come to love their countries even more. I would appreciate it if you would refrain from any behavior that would destroy the goodwill of other good people.

    Great option for single female traveler to Yoron island. Hosts are very warm and welcoming people who will pick you up in the port with no additional charges. They will also give you great recommendations on what to see and where to eat on the island. For additional 1000 Yen you can have dinner which is absolutely worth it (the food is prepared by host, and it’s delicious). The bed was comfortable with socket, small light, and ventilator inside the capsule. The room was air-conditioned. Location is a bit far from the port but it is very close to many touristic spots including Yurigahama beach, Yoron Minzokumura, Limestone cave. It’s also just 1 min walk to the sea coast. There is a parking lot in front of the hostel. I highly recommend staying in this guest house! I had an incredible time there that I will never forget. Thank you very much ❤️
