The property was clean , spacious and nicely decorated. Bonus points for being conveniently located near a train station. The staff was helpful and very accommodating to my family whenever we had questions. I particularly enjoyed the three daily free refreshment periods.

I do wish they had more than two washer dryers. The snacks were a bit disappointing and very small. I wish the snack coffee machine was also available during the breakfast buffet. Those are pretty much the only issues I had with the hotel.

I loved this hotel and I was so sad to leave! No other hotel which claimed to be the same caliber and quality stood up to this hotel. The room was huge, the facilities nice and updated. I was grateful for both the iron and ironing board. I do wish they had more than two washer dryers. The snacks were a bit disappointing and very small. It was directly next to a subway line, a 7 11 and a lawsons. I wish i had been able to find the equivalent of this hotel in Tokyo and Osaka.

Great value, but I thought the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey for breakfast.

Loved this hotel- great location for tourist areas. We had access to the VIP lounge which offered a great afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Nice way to relax out of the room.

Only a slight complaint- the washer dryer combo doesnt dry the clothes well. It was 3 hours and still damp.

A beautiful modern hotel. The architect/designers put great thought and skill into every element. The breakfast was excellent and in a lovely setting. The Iconic Lounge was a great treat for an afternoon tea and pastry- No charge so the guest feels like a guest. Dont miss the bath- a beautiful and relaxing time ! Also we rated the pajamas that are provided as the best and most stylish of our trip in Japan. Very chic and comfortable

no fitness room, the reception area doesn't feel like 5 star, the bar is really like a lobby / waiting area and not a specific bar area. None of these things had an impact on our stay and I would stay here again. we liked it so much = we cancelled our hotel in Osaka and booked The Royal Park Hotel Iconic there also

Lovely hotel in a good location, lounge access was a real bonus - with afternoon tea and a nice place for a drink before dinner. Fabulous shower and toiletries, good sized room - corner twin suite with an extra bed (we were travelling with our son) great room with a balcony and a good size.

We loved our stay at this hotel. This hotel healed our souls after we had to leave a different accommodation where we had an awful experience. This hotel exceeded our expectations, the beds were huge and very comfortable, excellent pillow selection, large rooms for Kyoto. The view was stunning, absolutely amazing afternoon tea and evening drinks. Excellent connection to public transport, many restaurants close by and about a 15min walk into the city centre. I will be recommending this hotel to all our family and friends

Room was a really good size, huge bed and lovely bathroom. Near the metro and coin laundry was a convenient. Also near 7 Eleven and bus stop.

They leave little to no room for any dissatisfaction. Although we had the room without a view it didn’t distract from an epic stay. The complimentary high-tea and canapé/drink service each day became a highlight for us, something we haven’t experienced elsewhere while traveling Japan. Lovely attentive staff, substantial breakfast, great location, good onsen and comfortable (albeit tight with luggage) rooms.
