Excellent central situation close to Sendai station. Quite large rooms for Japanese hotels with lovely design. Very nice atrium entrance. Good breakfast buffet with the possibility of having freshly made omelette. Rooms had good sound isolation and we slept very well undisturbed by noise.

For such a large hotel there were only two lifts and no freely accessible staircase which seemed to be reserved for emergency use only. If you are on the first or second floor rooms you still had to wait for a lift which in the morning rush hour was slightly annoying.

Closed to station Little walking from station to hotel. Breakfast Good selection of breakfast Amenities I liked Skin care products and bath salt

Only I didn’t like was no curtain or door between bedroom and bath room area. It was ok for us because of family members to share the room but if I shared with friends, I would want to have a door (like sliding door or even curtain or Noren) between bedroom and sink area.

The facilities are rudimentary, the cost-performance ratio is low, and the price is not cheap at all. During my stay, there was a sudden power outage, and I couldn't find a phone in the room to notify the staff; I had to go to the reception to inform them. Although the staff quickly came to investigate, the answer was that I was asked not to use the kettle provided by the hotel and the hairdryer at the same time!? This could cause a short circuit. Having traveled many times and stayed in countless hotels, this situation is truly classic. Additionally, during the summer, I don’t know if it’s a directional issue, but even with the air conditioning set to a low temperature, it still felt hot. I would not choose this hotel again.

It was near the JR station.

I stayed at The OneFive Sendai, which is rated as a 4-star hotel, but my experience didn’t quite match that level of quality. The check-in process was handled through a call center, which felt impersonal and disconnected. The room was rather small for a hotel of this standard, and there was a noticeable lack of hospitality from the front desk staff—no greeting or warmth, which was disappointing. The slippers provided tore apart after just a few minutes of walking, which added to the feeling of poor attention to detail. As for breakfast, the options were quite limited, especially for Western guests expecting a bit more variety. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming for a supposed 4-star hotel.
