Convenient location, excellent host very friendly and receptive to feedback. Fantastic Thai restaurant just outside. The room itself had everything we needed, warm and comfy, good AC, extra blankets and pillows and towels provided too. Well worth the price :)

Great room in a great location, definitely on the smaller side especially for 4 people, as was the bathroom, but the room was super clean and had great amenities and the host was really helpful!

It was very tiny, the bathroom specially, and there is no bidet unlike most of Tokyo’s toilets. You can hear all the noise from the street, luckily the street was not too busy.

This place was pretty well located but it is not a 12min walk to Shinjuku but more like a 25min walk. Hatsudai station is pretty close though. The place was clean and had everything needed, hair dryer, clothes steamer etc.

It didn't affect us as much as we only had two cabin bags, but the narrow stairs would make it difficult for those with larger luggages.

Convenient location with easy check in process. Host was very responsive and helpful.

A little small for us but it’s quirky enough to forget about it for a little while.

Set cosy, clean, places to eat nearby with little ramen restaurant opened till late up the road and awesome chill coffee shop heading towards hatsudai train station.

The room was very clean and whilst not very big - much better than other rooms we had stayed in especially in Tokyo.

Unfortunately both my friend and I are not used to Japanese style beds and the one inch thick mat on top of tatami really had us aching.

Facility was very unique and filled with fun decor (it took us three days to realize the samurai helmet was a music box!) location was pretty good for the price line.

Slight odour probably from the kitchen sink being under use. The smell seems to go away after flushing some detergent through the drain

The place was super easy to find as the instructions from the owner were very thorough and the owner was always quick to answer on chat. We loved the deco of the Edo room and the apartment was super cosy. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet.

Size was probably on the small size if people had older teens/adults - but is as advertised so you know that before booking and we were ok with that.

Great location, you have station options with Hatsudai closest and Shinjuku (a little further) best connected. Was nice to have our own space - while tight - was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the loft. Was very clean and check in/out was easy and seamless with the great instructions and communication provided by the owner. We would love to come and stay again.

The property is small but this typical Japanese style living. However, I would say 4 people might be a bit of a squeeze with luggage. The bed was a little hard but again I think this is typical of Japanese style living.

The property was in an ideal location. It was close to supermarket, tram stop and once you find your bearings you can walk around easily. The lady who owns the property was very helpful and send across directions to the property along with local food recommendations which great!!

Is a nice apartment. Japan size, but worthy for the money and location. the host was really helpful in everything that we need. we stay for a week and we love the area. a caffe and bar in front and a couple of food shops around really good too!

Narrow stairwell to get to the room, carrying our luggage. Bathroom toilet had no bidet, which is a norm in Japan. Window right behind the bed had no curtain, so we woke up as soon as the sun rose. It was too cramped for the large amount that we paid.

The room was not completely clean when we arrived. The space is for 2 people, we were 3 and one of us had to find another apartment. There is no closet, pantry or surface available, just one drawer. We had to store our stuff in our suitcases for the whole stay. The bathroom is cramped.

The position is PERFECT, the host kind and thougthfull. Every instruction was clear and the was nice.
