The Deluxe rooms have a fan, however, they do not work well the rooms are still hot .

- the breakfast-box was a little late for the early safari at 5am. We had to wait for 10 min. Box was great though! - laundry service is good but a little expensive.

Sharing of beds. They should consider twin beds for people sharing rooms. Time has come for them to refurbish the lodge.

The location is perfect! They could do better as far as breakfast is concerned.

Food service was incredibly slow: over an hour to get a burger and pizza. Breakfast was not very enticing. Fruit was a bit old. Service was poor. Had to wait for an omelette chef to stand by her station. Asked for milk and they never brought it out.

Room was comfortable and well appointed. Air conditioning was good. Employees were very friendly. Came to pick us up at train station when we couldn’t get a taxi. Also, helpful in calling our driver on departure when I wasn’t sure he was coming.

We had a pleasent stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room in the third floor had a nice view, even the hotel is located directly at the road. You hear the noise of road and train, but we were not bothered that much. We slept really well. Warm water, spacius bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast offered a lot delicious suaheli food and you could ask for fresh made eggs or omlette. The size of food at the dinner was much for a good price.

Breakfast was sober(no marmelade, only bitter for your toast. Plenty of warm food though . A la cart diner/lunch not great.

A/c, Mosquitos, Very small size DOUBLE ROOM Toilet comode removed from floor

Room was smaller than mentioned, a/c works, but no cooling or airflow. Feels like suffocating with windows closed. Windows can be open until sunset to enjoy breeze, but after that mosquitos carry you to their homes. Toilet seat is removed from the floor and could result in disgusting and serious injury if not perfectly careful while you do your business. Restaurant was good. Stay was okay, but could have been better for the price.

Very reasonably price small rooms. At a great location between Nairobi and Mombassa. Good food and bar. In a safe, guarded complex.
