Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe shower door did not completely close so the bathroom flooded after you take a shower. The check in process was a little complicated. It was a bit of a walk to get into or out of the hotel compound. Not a lot of food options in the area. The lunch and dinner foods weren’t that great. I didn’t know we needed to leave our keys in the door for someone to clean our rooms.
I loved the good internet connection. The place was very pretty. Next to a lot of nice places like the giraffe sanctuary or the Karen Blixen museum. Room was nice. Good TV. Pretty good bed. Nice cake.

KenyaThe day after we arrived there was a swimming gala which made us not comfortable to us the pool, find a way of informing guests of such events so as prepare them in advance of what to expect.
The ambiance was good, staff friendly and pleasant to us. The accommodation room was kept clean and tidy. The grounds were well maintained and lovely.

GermanyI liked the pool, the breakfast on the terrace and the relaxing environment. The place is very clean. Standard room are very nice, but budget room is very small and the showers is bad. Some members of the staff are extremely nice, like Susan, others make trubles... Overall in a good place to stay, we spent 2 weeks and the location was good for us because we needed to travel to magadi everyday.

KenyaThe accommodation does not come with food and they also do not accept food from outside which forces one to buy from them. The food was not good at all and not kiddy friendly and as a mum travelling with 3 under 5 it was really challenging. Kindly consider getting better quality food and accommodation should be at least bed and breakfast.
The accomodation was excellent ,it exceeded my expectations

AustraliaOne thing to note is that the bathroom is a part of the main bedroom/living room, so those who stay in the 2nd bedroom need to walk through the main bedroom to get to the washroom/toilet. The shower wasn't great, although that was on the list to fix. Another point is that there was no fan or A/C and being on the 3rd floor (many stairs) it got quite hot during the night. There was often a nice breeze through the windows, but no insect screens, so take your mozzie repellent.
We stayed in the family room, enjoying a balcony and sitting room. The breakfasts was delicious and filling. A welcoming pineapple and mint juice was so appreciated! Very comfortable, huge king bed in the main room and two comfortable king-singles in the good sized 2nd bedroom. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Asyana is situated right next door to the church and school, so we were able to enjoy beautiful singing throughout our stay.

KenyaWhat I really don't liked was that as a guest, you are restricted to Asyana breakfast. I don't eat eggs and bacon on two following days. If you want variety, then you should pay. I paid for three days, but arrived past 24H00 of 27th and on first hours of 28th, I still pay, because I was late. However, I expect same spirit of accommodation and flexibility in offering breakfast. If you paid for bed and breakfast don't restrict guests. Thanks. I am proud that I was guest in your institution.
The staff were helpful and accommodating. I like that no alcohol and smoke wasn't allowed.

KenyaWhen showering, the water spreads over a wider surface, and that can be looked into, so that one has dry surfaces after enjoying your shower..
I walked into a beautiful, peaceful place. It is just as you see in the pictures. I was very well received. The staff are both friendly and professional, making you feel so comfortable and very much at home. The food is delicious: well prepared, good portions. The ambience is amazing. It really is pretty, day and night. The different size rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are a good size. The common areas are spacious and comfortable and well arranged. I've been spreading the word, and I'm definitely coming back. It's my new place to retreat and relax 😌 💕

KenyaGuest griefing wasn't done we missed out on a lot of information that was only shared during checkout. The staff telephone lines weren't being answered. The kitchen was closed denying us access to any kitchenware we might need i.e. Plates and Spoons for eating. The shower wasn't instant we had to content with a cold shower each morning and evening.
The rooms were awesome with great ambiance.
