Kenyahouses a bit cramped and the exterior surroundings not really blending in...bit like a building site at times Guests not relaxed as too much going on with private cars from outside, so no exclusivity You should contact the pembroke school and see what they recommend and make a link with them for parents staying a few days etc.

United KingdomThe rooms we saw in the main Lodge looked a bit dated (unlike the Annex), the dining room needs new lighting and furnishing but everything else was great.
It was a great location to stay to see friends working at Pembroke House and to visit various game parks. the Annex, where we stayed, was light and airy and just down the lane from the main Lodge. staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and the food was great value. the pool area was lovely, as was the breakfast room overlooking the pool and it was helpful to have the gym.

United KingdomWiFi very poor in the rooms. maintenance of gym equipment seriously lacking. quality and temperature of food variable. great tv’s yet only a limited number of DSTV channels ( non subscription ones). it does not need a lot to be a brilliant hidden gem !
staff are the best I’ve ever known. I’ve spent thousands of nights in hotels. location is fantastic and peaceful. rooms spacious. kettle and fridge that work. good sized bathroom. a little more attention to food quantity and serving speed along with maintenance of the gym equipment, WiFi plus DSTv subscription and the place will be a total treasure!

United KingdomThe staff at Brooks Lodge are all very helpful and attentive. The single issue was dinner took nearly 2 hours to prepare and arrive at our table. My daughter ordered a lentil dish from the menu, however after nearly a 2 hour wait for dinner you can imagine appetites were lost.
The location and the grounds are peaceful and well kept.

KenyaThe wifi in the rooms needs to be improved. The staircase railings need to be made childproof. They should exhibit all their payment options in visible places because I found it fishy to be given a personal till(not in the name "Brooks Lodge") by word of mouth
We had initially booked a standard room but upon arrival, we found it was not what we really opted for so we switched to the executive room, The room was comfortable, there is a jacuzzi, it's spacious, there's a TV, and Hot water bottles were provided every day, the staffs were friendly and Sherry was really helpful, the food was satisfying, there was a mini fridge and a hot water jug to boil your water.

This is excellent accommodation in an out of the way place. The welcome was very warm and the meals at the accommodation were excellent. A place I would definitely stay again.

KenyaThey used different pictures to advertise the lodge. The place we stayed at was utter garbage. 10 rooms so close together that a toilet flushed in any one room is heard across all 10 rooms. A person snoring in the one room can wake all occupants in the 10 rooms. It's almost undescribable how bad those rooms were.

KenyaI accidentally took the room key when I checked out. No one was at the reception to remind us to hand in the keys. I travelled more than 100 Kilometres when I was asked to return the key. Had to pay for transport for the key to be handed back.
