    Very good value for money.
    • Business trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Standard Double Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

The room was a little basic, but was good enough, given the exceptional price.

The room and evening dinner in the restaurant were both excellent value for money. The location was OK, and easy to find on the main road, although the very poor road condition into Aberdare during the time of our stay meant that drive took longer than we had hoped. Friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking.

    The Wifi was quite slow

I had a wonderful stay at Bubbles Lodge. It's the perfect place for a hike up Mount Kinangop. I was particularly impressed by the helpful and friendly staff. Many thanks to Elisabeth and Charles for all their help and good service. The food on offer was delicious and reasonably priced.

This is Africa. It is not the Hilton!

    • Deluxe Double Room with Balcony

The food was unimaginative and very plain. Despite the disturbed sleep the first night, the staff tried to be helpful but you are staying in a primitive African village hotel, so don’t worry if there is no water, they will bring you a bucket to wash in, be happy with the food they offer. Best of all, they are friendly and hospitable, so you can forgive many failings

When the night porter allowed drunk guests to party in the next door room at 0300 and despite my complaining in person, the noise didn’t stop until 0430

Didn't like that we had only found the place when we were leaving... Seems to be hard to find such a good place when on the road as a muzungo... Photos don't do it justice

Great Accomodation and Location if you want to visit the Aberdare National Park, rooms are great size with balcony, food from restaurant delivered to your room, hot shower, clean, safe, and a fire place which is a very nice touch so bring fire wood, as we had our camping kit we could make Tea on the open fire place... And makes the room toasty warm... The fish and roast potatoes were excellent... And very good Price overall!!!
