🌟 Wonderful Stay at Cozy Stead! I had a fantastic experience at Cozy Stead. The location is perfect—close to the Village Market, which made exploring the area super convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff truly stood out with their helpfulness and warm smiles, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. A special shoutout to Edda, who went above and beyond by arranging a safari tour for me on very short notice—she’s simply the best! The breakfast was also a highlight: tasty, fresh, and a great way to start the day. I will definitely choose to stay at Cozy Stead again and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Kenya. 🌿🦓

Bed cleaning needs some work. The bathroom would also benefit from a shower curtain so the water won't overflow out of the shower.

The location, the garden & the hospitality were exceptional. The receptionist was nice enough to let me wait in the garden after checkout while I waited for my friend to come by, no questions asked. The hotel and its walkable surroundings are the highlight of my visit, the peace & quiet really felt like I'm on a relaxing excursion for once. To think I booked this last minute too!

Service at restaurant was slow and the room I stayed in (Room 1, Ground Floor) was noisy as it was close to reception.

There’s a padel club at backside that can be a bit noisy till late midnight.

Proximity to UN compound. Very quiet location in Gigiri. Very calming feel. A Cozy Stead indeed.

Night noises. First a neighbour spent an hour loudly speaking on the phone, late at night (ard midnight - 1am). When that stopped, after a few minutes some loud sounds (which I could not identify) started, for about 30 mins. No net on the beds, and no mosquitoes repellent in the rooms. Leftover old baked goods by previous guests + the extra matress they had in the room, were not removed prior to my checking in.

Dinner was excellent! The chef is really good and made a perfect wet fried fish. The rest of the staff was also friendly and very helpful. Plenty of drinking water was provided in the room, so this was a big plus for me.

The walls are paper thin. Even with earplugs and white noise on my phone, it still sounded like the live music on Friday night was coming from the foot of my bed.

The staff were all lovely, the service was great, and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Location was also excellent, walking distance from the UN.

The door of the bathroom didn't close from outside.there was light from the bathroom door , coming from the outside lighting.i know this can be fixed.

The location is excellent,very quiet, walking distance to the village market,IOM,,and only 4 mins to the US embassy.The breakfast was awesome. The staff were very welcoming...I would recommend a future stay and refer friends and family.

Room is a bit too small, toilet and fan are very loud, no AC, no sound isolation, a small window over the door, where during the night you see the lamp bright right in your eyes. Also doesn't feel completely private. I didn't like the room too much, but everything outside of the room just perfect!

The place is very green and quiet, staff is amazing, nice food and very pleasant garden.

The water in my bathroom was not clean. The shower water pressure was very weak and the water would run out, so I could not wash my hair (short hair would have been possible probably but long hair no)

The room was cute and the bathroom modern. They have a beautiful garden and also inside chilling areas. The staff was very friendly! The accommodation is located in a very safe area, super close to a big mall (Village Market). Hence, location was very good!
