Directions were given very clearly. Got to see some wildlife on the way to the property. The staff were friendly and helpful. Peter was a fantastic chef, and Kevin, the host, was very responsive and accommodating. The view out of the terrace was lovely at any hour of the day. The hot tub was a welcome comfort. The host also provides warm fleece blankets and hot water bottles in case it gets too chilly. Overall, the property was a relaxing getaway to be out in nature. Highly recommend 👌.

The view was out of this world! It was an incredible location, perfect for a weekend getaway to unplug and relax. The room was cosy and clean.

I would have appreciated having a few more utensils and crockery for our stay, allowing us to avoid washing dishes as often.

    Property response:

Hi Carmen. Thanks so much for your positive review and your helpful feedback. We will work on implementing your suggestions. Welcome again!

The place is absolutely lovely! Kevin was super helpful and such a lovely host, and Peter made our stay even better by preparing food for us and providing whatever we needed. Such kind staff members! The views were to die for, it's a good place to reflect and recharge.

We ended up using the wrong road as per Google's directions and the road was extremely rough. I's recommend reaching out to Kevin for more detailed directions.

Very comfortable tent site in the middle of the wilderness with the best views all to ourselves. We brought our own food and enjoyed a BBQ, which was unforgettable. The staff came and did the work of making the fire with charcoal when we asked them to. The night was chilly when we stayed, but the tents blocked the outside air to some extent and there were hot water bottles for beds so we slept warm. Even though it was a tente, everything was clean and there were no breakdowns or glitches. The toilets, showers and kitchen were clean, everything worked and there was always enough hot water. Kevin, the owner, and his staff paid attention to detail. Communication was always prompt. The location is really in the mountains(bush), far from the city centre, so there are apparently inevitably power cuts depending on the weather. I was unlucky enough to face that too. However, I rather enjoyed my digital detox, not being bothered or worried as I knew both staff and guards were very close by. For the power needed for smartphones and other devices, the staff brought me a powerful LED lantern with power feed function many times. The tent sites had powerful Wi-Fi, but that stopped working when the power went out. The mobile communication network was weak at the site, but when needed, I was able to communicate on the 4G network by walking out into the open field 2-3 minutes away. The staff kindly accompanied for that.

This was one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. After a day doing safari on crescent island arriving here was the cherry on the cake. The views are absolutely magical and the tent has everything you’d need. We even had a storm in the evening and the tent was able to withstand it. Communication from the host was also great, very helpful and responsive - a really personal experience. We no doubt will be coming back to this heavenly location.

Thanks so much for the warm review. Karibu tena!

The property is located at a remote location so be prepared. Once you reach the property, it’s extremely serene and quiet. If you are with your partner, it will give you enough time and space to reconnect. The owner Kevin is extremely helpful. Just remember that this property is located at a remote location so don’t expect luxury of ordering though they have tie ups with other restaurants. Order wisely or take extra food with you.

It was an exceptional experience. I just can't describe how amazing the location was. It's hard to put into words. The staff was so friendly, and the property was equipped with everything you could possibly need. My wife and I were in Kenya for 5 nights, and this was the perfect one. Highly recommended for nature lovers.

The road and access to the place is not good

I always like to counter. 🤨 you can have exclusive/serene/private without going a bit off road. It’s ONLY 8 kms of dirt road 🙄
