Laundry is available but a bit pricey (and smelled like cigarette smoke 😓 maybe someone smokes nearby the drying area). Its a shared apartment with other guests but we knew that already.

Clean and comfortable, staff was really accomodating and very responsive to texts. Modern apartment with nice balcony, there's a secluded swimming pool too.

For those looking to book, its a shared house; you get your master ensuite room but a common kitchen space and common common living room.

The house is perfect. The beds are nice, clean rooms and great sea views with just a walking distance to the beach. The staff is kind, polite and friendly.

We had our own deluxe double room, but we did not know that we had to share the living room and kitchen with other guests. Daina, from the hotel, was super helpful, attending to our requests. I was not given the deluxe double room I booked, so I felt a bit short-changed on the amenities. The satisfactory room I settled for needed a bit of late night work to get the air-conditioning installed; limiting my evening plans for two days. I just felt that they should have been better prepared for my arrival. The plumbing fixtures are a bit corroded, and the waterpressure is low at times, especially in the tub; however, the shower was in wonderful order. The elevator was out of order twice in my one week stay.

I'm very happy with my stay overall. It's well worth the price for an older establishment. The shared areas are well maintained, and the housekeeper is on site 24/7. The staff was very cheerful, helpful, and pleasant. They did all they could to make it a pleasant stay, and they were quick to address issues. The room was very clean and roomy. The terrace view of the ocean was fabulous. Once again, despite what I didn't like, this place was well worth every dollar spent. The location allows for quick access to many places to restaurants, beaches, shops and local vendors, malls, and enjoyable nightlife.

A bit difficult to find. Directions from booking.com are a bit off. Google Maps was more precise, but we had to ask guys at the gate of an apartment complex if this was the right place. Perhaps a sign or something could be useful.

Pretty good budget option, more like an air bnb situation. Good location in Nyala. AC was working well. Sea view. Perhaps even more suitable for families or groups of friends to take multiple rooms at once.

Water could be provided in a dispenser rather than 500ml bottles which were provided just once and so insufficient. But generally for the cash there was value.

Proximity to the beach. Friendly hosts that communicated as needed. Neat apartment with all basic amenities. Proper security and generally it’s a place I’d recommend or even come back myself.

The lifts can get a little erratic, but taking the scenic route (stairs) keeps us all healthy.

We made arrangements for early checkin and this worked perfectly for us. The swimming pool at the apartment was accessible and gave us the much relaxation we needed, though there is no life guard on duty. The location is close to Nyali center, where we did most of our shopping. The staff was very cooperative, and responsive to our requests.

Only some rooms have AC, just make sure to get what you have been booking, i.e. check pictures and description when booking and when arriving.

Good value for money, shared kitchen is spacy and well equipped. The pool got shad in the early morning as well as in the afternoon, and is a pleasant option to cool down. The rooftop is accessable for a nice view over sea and nyali. Its a 1.5km walk to shopping, and a 2km walk to either mombasa beach or pirates beach.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn future guests. My recent stay at this accommodation was deeply disappointing and concerning. First, the listing was highly misleading. There was barely a sea view and it was not within walking distance to the beach. The photos showed a clean, modern space, but what we arrived to was outdated, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. The bath and shower were not working and after several attempts by their plumber to remedy the situation, the shower could not work. Apparently the bath had not worked in years. We were then moved to another location for alternative accommodation and upon arrival everything seemed decent. More seriously, during our stay, a theft occurred. Items (3 cellphones) were taken from our room while we were sleeping, and there was no sign of forced entry. When we contacted the host/property management, the response was unhelpful, dismissive, no follow-up. We also reported the incident to local authorities/platform support but received limited assistance. Till this day we are yet to receive the CCTV footage or any update. I strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. The combination of false advertising, lack of security, and poor response to a serious issue makes this place unacceptable.

Very happy with the stay at Elna's Nyali, we had a switch to an apartment in an other building on the groundfloor , we also had excess to a swimming pool just outside the apartment, very happy with our stay . The original apartment that we booked where in an other building and next to a shared kitchen you share with other guests, when we checked in it was quite noisy from the shared kitchen as a whole family was there enjoying and playing music, I asked to be moved to an other apartment as it would be to noisy from the kitchen as I was going to work from the apartment during daytime. The other apartment that we got was superb and quiet, had a great stay 🙏
