Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This is a wonderful hotel in Gigiri. The area is very green and calm and only a short walk to the Village Market Mall. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the grounds are really lovely. The rooms also have large windows and great natural light. They are very bright and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything about Gigiri Lion Villas was beyond my expectations. The property is serene, beautifully maintained, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. As a solo traveler, I felt truly welcomed and at ease. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional hospitality — Omar went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference. WiFi was also strong and reliable, which was perfect for my needs.

Excellent property in a central location, with exceptional staff. As an example, i was being served breakfast and coffee at early morning hours before my tours to national park etc. Room and bathroom were spacious and had a feeling of a villa. The food was very good for the days I did not want to walk 6 minutes to the mall.
