A bit noisy but it’s normal due to the position

Very welcoming and friendly staff, always ready to help you out! Super central position, well connected to the main central areas (city market, Jamia mosque, Kenyatta conference centre)

Only thing is that you don't get complimentary breakfast if you book through booking.com. if you book it directly with the hotel, you get that. However the breakfast comes for 500KSH and around 300 KSH, if it is half breakfast.

A very good hotel at an affordable price in the city, with Universities within walking distance. They exchange currency also giving a good price so you don't need to run here and there. Located in the city surrounded with markets and the Saturday Masai Market is walking distance. The in house restaurant offers the best food at an affordable price. Wonderful chef, lovely staff and very secured for even female solo travelers.

There are no signs outside the Jamia shopping mal so upon arrival it might be a bit difficult to find the hotel. I had to ask one of the shop owners about the location and the guy wanted me money for just showing me where the hotel is (which is ofc not the hotel's fault but something to improve in terms of putting more signs outside).

Staff at the Jamia Hotel are all very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating when I had to check out earlier than I supposed to and they didn't overcharge me. The restaurant there has amazing and quite affordable food and the staff, likewise, are very friendly and nice. Location of the hotel is central at the heard of business district in Nairobi. Rooms are clean although a bit warm since there is no air-conditioning. All in all, it's definitely worth the price that you pay for.

No lift in the building, the rooms are on the 2. level, but the security man helped me with the luggage

In the center, good, safe area, grocery store, souvenir market, restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Nothing as such. I booked this hotel considering it's location and this met my expectations.

The best part of this hotel was it's location. Right at the heart of the city.

It was a bit noisy early morning with terrible groaning sound coming out of the nearby mosque.

Jamia Hotel is indeed central. Location is excellent. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Staff frodndly and helpful. We arrived very late thanks to Kenyan Airways, checked in t 3am and let us checkout at 12 no problem. We will stay again.

Neighborhood becomes very quiet at later evening like 9pm, which is a common scenery at Nairobi. Otherwise we can't find anything to point out,

The service is exceptional, location is great. So many options for food is around. This is our second comeback , can't think of any better option for a short stay.

From the photos, I expected to have a safe in my room, but I didn't. I can't really complain about anything else.

For people who like CBD, this hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are spacious and provide many amenities, considering the very good price. Staff was helpful and tried to be informative on various occasions.

Internet was intermittent. Neighbourhhod is not attractive at night.

We didn't sleep overnight as we just wanted a centrall-located hotel where to rest and shower before leaving for a middle of the night flight. It fulfilled its need as the shower was clean and powerful and the space large enough to rest. Central location made it easy to catch a taxi to the airport. As it located on the second floor of a shopping complex without an elevator we got help from the reception to pick up our luggage.

Slightly noisy but what can you expect from the middle of Nairobi. The restaurant and reception can also be a bit noisy if you have a room close to it which I did, but calms down at a semi-reasonable hour)

Great for what you pay for, especially location, walking distance to a lot of things in central Nairobi, which great cafes, banks, telecomms and restaurants walking distance from the hotel. It can be a bit tricky to find at first but just asking anyone in the mall and they’ll point you in the right direction. The mall itself having security guards also made my feel very safe the whole time. It was also nice having a restaurant right there you can go to if you’re tired and just want a quick meal. The wifi was also great (I did have a room quite centrally located)
