Great facilities! Nature tended with care and dedication. Swimming pools very nice and comfortably situated two steps down the rooms. The seafront is just there, amazingly beautiful with its white sand and shadows under the palm trees. Staff is nice, smiling, helpful, efficient. Thank you all for making our stay there so memorable!

-service at breakfast was a bit too imposing and fussy. too many waiters eager to clean up, even if you may still use something, leaning across the table to pick up stuff while one is eating, or standing and chatting at the corner. Also, all waiters are male, no women around. -The hotel is within a marine conservation area, so tries to show some environmental management aspects, for example with right messages in the room for guests to turn off AC if not in the room etc, but then the cleaning staff leaves the AC and fan blasting during the day after cleaning. It is equally important to educate staff as well as the guest about environmental practices.

The paintings of naked women felt a little off. The rest of the design of the property is outstanding, but why the need to fetishize African women's bodies, especially in a non-African-owned establishment that has mostly non-African guests (and lots of children)? The food was generally fairly good but a little bit shy on flavours; the pasta sometimes a little too al-dente.

Pretty much everything was excellent - the location is incredible, rooms are perfect, design & layout outstanding, staff very competent & friendly, just a top package - we'll definitely be back.

The hotel manager behaved arrogantly. We had a confirmation from the hotel stating that breakfast would start at 7:00 AM, but it actually began at 7:30 AM. The manager didn’t even acknowledge that we had the confirmation from the hotel.

The stay in this hotel was very comfortable. The food was great, rooms are very clean and spacious.

A part from the availability of gluten free spaghetti, the facility is not inclusive for people with celiac disease. There is no any bakery gluten free product for breakfast nor for lunch and dinner, though in all Africa is very easy to get naturally gluten-free flours. Also, the availability of a spa could make the vacation much more enjoyable.

The location was amazing. The food was very good, fish and seafood dishes with Italian taste.

The coffee at breakfast could have been a lot better. Individual cafetières would be ideal.

Kobe was paradise! The location was idyllic, room very spacious and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, food delicious and very good value. The ambience was peaceful, chic and relaxing. Pools were quiet and super clean. The beach was easily accessible and good for walks into Watamu. We will be back!
