They say the reception desk is 24hrs but that's not true. Several times I went out and coming back there was no one. I called Several times from the room and no one recieved my calls. The resort is not well lit at night and you need to be careful

Beach was rocky so not great for swimming of next to the hotel. WIFI in room not very strong but great in the pool area.

They had a challenge with power cuts and the Wifi was not very stable.

The reception staff particularly one who is also in charge of marketing (forgot his name) were really helpful and did not hesitate to show us the other rooms. ✓Dirty Pool 😒🙄... Keep the filters on & get a professional to help you keep the pool clean always. ✓Door Locks for Room 206 wasn't working..but John the Property Manager helped us get a better room. ✓Poor Wifi Signal .. ✓ Work with neighboring property owners to clean the pool... The beach is mostly coral at the shore so not as enjoyable. You can however walk further and experience the more sandy and clear water sections of the beach during low tide. The rooms need their locks checked, replaced or sprayed with WD40.. they would jam at times. The common area balcony on the 2nd floor has a lovely view of the ocean but the glass railing is wobbly and therefore hazardous. The WiFi is unstable despite them seeking to have boosters on every floor and every room. The pool needs more regular attention. Please just have the filters on at all times to purify the water... it looked too cloudy and had particles in it.. Makes one uncomfortable to spend time in that water. Overall, I think cleanliness can be improved.. table cloths, beach bed mattresses... it's the little things that take away from this lovely establishment in a big way.

The swimming pool needs disinfecting as my partner complained of a yeast infection she got after using the Swimming pool. We need more fun activities like an active bar and some music. The place was a little dull.

The breakfast was nice. We enjoyed it with my Partner served by a caring Gentleman. He serves you with a smile with a good attention to detail. The Baked beans were just something I craved for. That was nice.

- location is a bit far from nicer parts of the beach, the center and other good restaurants - somehow the last resort on the long beach (but you can easily take a tuktuk to good places) - last part of the beach next to the Navy was not the nicest place, lot of seagrass, rocks in the water to walk over when you want to go for a swim (but this is kind of a problem on most parts at Malindi beach) - no sunbeds on the beach - no seaview from sunbeds in shadow at the pool - instead there was a stone wall to look at. - no save in the room, but having us to sign that the hotel is not reliable if anything valuable gets taken from our room - offer for transfer to airport was a bit expensive, we organised a cheaper transport on our own (25% cheaper) - all in all we felt comfortable and can recommend the hotel when you can live with above mentioned restrictions

- very calm (at that time of year) - good pool restaurant - very nice terrace and relaxing areas inside the small hotel - small but nice pool - good breakfast with fresh prepared food and juices (omelettes and fruits were great as everywhere in Kenia - fresh toasted bread as well) - helping us with our baggage when we had to leave - helpful and friendly staff - especially Marta who helped us to find a good driver and shops and make our stay comfortable - very clean and well equiped spacious room with beautiful terrace with seaview - in general a nice ressort

I made the reservation because it was written a few meters from the center instead the hotel is located very far away and this should be corrected as well as it should be written that breakfast is not included. The food needs to be improved.

The structure is beautiful, too bad for the beach not very accessible. The staff was friendly but they need more training on service. The women who take care of the cleaning of the rooms were great.

They clean the pool late they could clean it at 6am for guests who would like to swim early and they can improve on customer service
