Since Salt Lick Safari Lodge is located within the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, the conservancy access fee goes directly toward wildlife protection, habitat conservation, and community initiatives. This contribution plays a vital role in preserving the rich biodiversity that makes visits here so special. Regarding the concerns you mentioned, we would like to clarify that the public allegations referenced were from January 2025. These matters were taken seriously and addressed promptly, including a complete management restructure. We can confidently assure you that there are no ongoing investigations by the Kenya Tourism Authority, and we’ve been operating successfully and transparently since February. Our team continues to uphold the highest standards of staff welfare and guest service. Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa is a family-friendly destination, and as such, children are often part of the joyful ambiance. For guests seeking a quieter, more serene retreat, we warmly recommend our sister property, Salt Lick Safari Lodge, which offers a more peaceful, adults-oriented environment in the heart of nature. Dear Nerissa, Thank you so much for the feedback. We high appreciate the feedback which will form our base for areas to improve, we just hope that we could have accommodated your stay better. The management is doing it's level best to improve the amenities and to making Taita Hills Resort the best in Tsavo. Unfortunately, this means doing a lot of refurbishment around the Resort which will involve some bit of limited noise. We also apologize for the noise cause by the very exited kids who were at the Resort. The management will also look into this and see how best to accommodate kids at the Resort in future.
