Lovely pool with views across the park. Taita hills is outside of the park by the gate. We stayed one night here then another night at the sister hotel Salt Lick Safari Lodge which is in the park with a watering hole. Park fees are payable when inside the park.

I think you have to bear in mind people are up very early and going out on early morning game drives. You will have some noise. I always take ear plugs where ever I go.

Quite a confusion from the staff checking us in, where they were not prepared to receive us when we arrived and were unable to find our booking.

Beautiful location, the gardens was very well looked after with thought for planting and blossoming flowers - giving a fantastic impression when driving up to the hotel. Hotel was very maintained and clean. Lovely lobby/main room with lots of seating area, where you can sit before going into dinner. Dining facilities was a little dark but there is the opportunity to sit outside and eat. Nice little swimming pool to cool off in. Bedrooms where nicely decorated and very clean with a balcony overlooking the gardens and the hills. Waiters were very attentive and helpful and ensured that we had a good service (Thank you Pettersson) We booked a birthday service with decorations for the room upon check in and a birthday cake at dinner - the staff made it a nice little celebration.

The staff at this hotel were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was absolutely beautiful, much more than we expected! Clean, light and comfortable more than big enough for 3 of us! The pool was warm and clean with loungers and towels. Food was a buffet style with lots to chose from so we were all happy! As we were full board, we took a packed lunch with us on the day we left and that was to the same high standard as dinner and breakfast had been in the hotel.

A bit expensive, and the fact that they charged extra admission to their park which used to be included in the booking before.

The executive run was very nice. The buffet meals were excellent too. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

My wife and I had a great stay at Taita Hills. The location is amazing, the rooms are comfortable, and the food was very tasty. Special shout out to Kadenge Reuben who led all of our game drives. He was so genuinely kind and made our experience one to remember.

The location is spectacular! we took a train from Mombasa to VOI station and then were picked up by Taita Hills driver. The food was so amazing ( 3 meals per day, included to price). Veggies and fruits are grown at Taita Hills farm abd served to customers fresh and super yummy! The safari trip ( not include to hotel stay) was incredible! We saw tremendous number of animals! Must visit place, 100 percent!!!
