As a content creator, I absolutely loved the garden—it was beautifully maintained, clean, and so lush and green, which made it perfect for taking great photos. The pool was also a highlight for me—spacious, clean, and very refreshing, especially on hot days. It really made my stay relaxing and visually inspiring.

This stay surpassed my expectations, ended up staying double the time I intended. The host is wonderful and so accomodating. Ridiculous value for money, great place to relax by the pool, also there are bodas passing all the time to take you to town when need be. Bonus points for the kindest dog you can imagine!

The bathing water was very salty,generally the whole of Watamu has salty water.

The host was kind enough to upgrade me to a better room at Venus & Poa poa villa. The compound was clean,private, quiet and beautiful with a lovely pool. I would definitely recommend it. ❣️

Perfect for solo travelers. There's other rooms where you can meet people and you get access to the pool and wonderful grounds around the villa. Effie, the hostess is wonderful and invited us to local parties, showed us the local places to eat, negotiated our bodas, and helped us with everything we needed! The rooms were clean, had fans, many outlets, a line to hang your clothing outdoors and a mosquito net for the bed. It was also very secure with a doorman at all hours of the night and only a few more guests which made for a peaceful stay. I will definitely come back here!

The rooms have one bed and a small wardrobe. The bathroom is shared with two other rooms. The rooms belong to a large villa where we were also allowed to use the kitchen. The villa also has a large, beautiful pool and a great location! We received a very warm welcome and all the staff were very helpful. Thank you for the nice stay!

Absolutely beautiful villa with a wonderful and accommodating host. The pool is a good place to spend time, you have access to the kitchen to make your own meals and an outdoor lounge area out front all at an affordable price. It's close to Papa Remo too if you'd like to attend the Saturday Beach Party.

Everything is amazing in Sunny Garden Rooms, I felt like at home, I celebrate my birthday there...I was just arrived and I felt so welcomed, the energy is very powerful and positive. Effie and George are the best! Thay are very helpful in giving advice and information! The place also is amazing and clean with fantastic garden, living room and bedrooms! It wasn't clean... The bathroom was not in a good state, the shower drain was a dark brown compared to the silver metal that it once was, it didn't drain properly. There were also massive cockroaches. The outside, common area was very very dusty, even the walls were covered in dust. It was a must to wear shoes everywhere to ensure your feet weren't coated in dirt. This is far below the usual standard of cleanliness you can expect in Kenya.

It was in a good location and it had a swimming pool, fans, and WiFi. The host gave us recommendations of where to eat and activities.
