Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The breakfast was incredible. Served to your table, 2x as much food as you could imagine wanting, and everything delicious and prepared with care. Nanyuki is a wonderful city to visit.

United KingdomShower not demonstrated in the room pictures which was not as expected (photo attached) The hotel’s recommendation for transport and a game drive to Ol Pejeta was not with a certified tour guide but with a local who had zero experience in conducting game drives. Please ensure that any recommendations are verified to be with certified tour guide services.

KenyaLocation can be slightly noisy daytime which is expected.
The hotel staff provided exceptional service, always attentive to our needs and especially accommodating for children. The location is very convenient, and the rooms are both spacious and impeccably clean, including the bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The portions served, particularly at breakfast, were generous and satisfying. A tip for future guests: book a room on the fourth floor or higher, and request a view of Mount Kenya to catch a breathtaking glimpse of the mountain and sunrise in the early morning.

KenyaThe space available in the standard room is quite limited. We were out from early morning to late evening so it didn't bother us so much, but if you want to spend some time in the room, you have no choice but to lie or sit on the bed. The bathroom is equally small. The shower is good, but the basin is not big enough to wash your hands in it. The bathroom door in 304 is not closing properly and falls open.
The location is reasonably close to the centre of Nanyuki and quite close to the railway station. The room is quiet and the mattress is good. The staff is very friendly and tries to do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is nice and well done, all your wishes will be done, as long as they have it. Internet is fast and the smart TV works on the Internet without a problem.

KenyaThe rooms and general finishing seemed rather dated.
Pleasant and very responsive staff. The hotel is centrally located and near the town's social amenities. Food including the breakfast was okay. No buffet though. Parking is ample and secure as the hotel has its own compound despite being in town.

NetherlandsThe restaurant had always the curtains closed. A bit of day light would be nice there too.
The location was great to visit Nanyuki, mount Kenya and Ol Pejeta conservancy. Walking distance from the railway station, which is very convenient if you take the scenic train to or from Nairobi. The Hotel is new and a few non important features are not yet completed but it is already very charming and comfortable. They let us to choose among 3 rooms which was very nice. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast is really good! They also helped with organizing any activity.
