Lovely family run guesthouse. They were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay - we were very close to the lake, but the biggest thing we liked was the balcony that overlooked the garden, very relaxing!

Good location, near the beach and walking distance to most attractions and restaurants, nice peaceful location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling and yummy. Kittens were very cute too !

I really enjoyed my stay at Zaton Guesthouse. It’s perfectly located in the park and right by the shore of Issyk Kul. The owners are very friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the area, including its sights and history. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy. Breakfast was exceptionally delicious and hearty. If I ever return to Cholpon-Ata, I’ll definitely stay at Zaton again.

Just go for it. Nothing bad to say for a single night stay

The host family was very friendly and accommodating. We checked in very late and they waited for us. They cooked us breakfast and it has to be one of the best we had in this trip. There is an excellent park behind this and we took some great photos there.

I don't see any other guesthouse as this one because of its location. It has big park in the backyard which you can see from your room and if you walk for 100m, you will be at the beach. Owners have given us all the information such as places to eat, visit during our stay and they had the best breakfast even though we were vegetarian.

Everything was perfect

The location is just perfect. It is right next to the president park. As you walk through the park, you'll find the gate that takes you to the lake. The owners of the place are really very kind. Breakfast was the amazing spread made by them with lots of love and you'll have interesting conversations with them. They were really kind to offer us the ride to the bus station as we had heavy bags with us. Just don't think twice about booking the place also if you plan to travel by marshrutka, this place is ideal, it is just 650 meters away which is easily walkable.

Location wasn't in a great street as it was all dug up for some roadworks. Not many food places were open for decent food in the town.

Lovely people running this family guest house. Nice spaces & abutting the parkland down to the lake. Lovely breakfast.

The people were great. That makes a world of difference for us. We felt welcomed and at home. The location is right next to a beautiful sculpture park. Very peaceful. We enjoy places like this more than big places with more amenities.

The light in the room is only lamp on the ceiling. It would be better if we could use some table lamp or something more warm and not so bright in the evening.

The best location, the best host, he helped us a lot with activities planning. Breakfast was amazing and consisted of several different dishes. The place is next to a beautiful park, Zaton, which is quite modern and well-equipped. Through the park you can reach the lake.

Very good location. 4 min walk to the beach, 5 min drive to thermal hot springs. The host was lovely. Recommended good places to eat & the hot springs as well which was a lot of fun. The host also made delicious pizza and eggs for breakfast. Very good rooms. Overall had a wonderful experience during our stay here.
