I have stayed before - this is definitely the place to be in BTB. The food is terrific, and the lovely green surroundings make it a relaxing place to sit by the pool or the bar. My only regret this trip was we had to start so early on our field trips, that I missed out on the delicious breakfasts.

The location is quite close to the riverside, but not in the central area of the city. The only real problem is that the rooms are not isolated against the noise, so you can hear the music coming from the neighboring clubs, the traffic, the dogs, the frogs,… We appreciated the fact that the hotel provided effective earplugs.

Beautiful rooms, especially the deluxe option, which have traditional wooden walls. The pool is very clean and offers a nice fresh relaxing spot. We appreciated the support in organizing tuktuk guided tour through the city and other attractions in the countryside.

Everything about this place was spot-on. Very well organized and managed hotel that felt more like a boutique resort. Large rooms, great pool, great food, and the poolside bar was a great space for happy hour. Staff were excellent. Will book here again when in Battambang

The owner Pat and his team made us feel very welcome. We throughly enjoyed the relaxed vibe of this hotel one of the best so far on our travels. Restaurant food and bar cocktails were great. The pool is clean and warm, enjoyed lunch chilling by the pool. The rooms are big, bed comfortable we slept very well Shout out again to all the staff We were sad to leave

The room is large and very private. It’s in a good location with a few steps from the river. The bad is that the breakfast is very mediocre and the restaurant food is just as bad. The internet is just as bad.

The reviews weren't exaggerating, lovely hotel, with a great feel to it ,- as others mentioned, tiled floors, excellent pool (heated too!). Big room. Breakfast was good too but you had to.place your order, not a buffet which is so inefficient!. My only suggestion for improvement would be for decent lighting in the bedroom - it's dark and the lighting is totally inadequate for reading. There's a great temple nearby and the Villa restaurant around the corner is superb. The hotel's restaurant is good too but I like to spread the business around. Just around the corner is a museum of art with works by 4 male child artists, now adults, rescued from tough lives - well worth a visit (Romcheik). There is also a gym next door to the hotel, only 4000 Riel for a day pass - great value. There's the original Bamboo Train- the station etc. is not well-maintained but the actual bamboo wagons are a laugh. Best sight of all - the bat exodus from the bat cave at dusk. It's an incredible sight as one million (estimate) bats go on the hunt for food. Honestly, it'll blow your mind unless you're David Attenborough! It's 14km away, $12 by tuk-tuk, there and back. GO! I cycled it, easy and flat but bloody hot!

I have stayed at the hotel before in 2012 but since then the whole neighbourhood seems to have become quite noisy. There are a lot of hot motorcycles accelerating on the road outside and there seemed to be a disco or nightclub operating nearby until early in the morning. The hotel supplies earplugs but I just used my noise cancelling earplugs (I wouldn't go anywhere without them) and none of the noise bothered me.

The pool was great to relax in after the heat of the morning. I enjoyed drinking at the bar and then being able to have great meals in the hotel. The staff were universally helpful, booking me a morning tour and my bus back to Phnom Penh.

For a 3-star hotel, I found the facility to be above my expectations. I would change and update the photos that in my opinion do not render of the hotel on booking.com.

I liked the availability of the staff, very nice people. I liked the room, really something unusual where there are only tiles leaning on the roof, but it has its charm, it's something original. The bathroom very spacious. Possibility to have both air conditioning and fan for those who bother the air conditioning. The noise of nature was also something spectacular. I really liked the 3-4 sheets of documentation of what there is to do in Battambang, it really helps a customer like yours truly who comes from far away and does not know the place. The name of the hotel reflects the structure.

The lighting in the bedroom was not sufficeient. They need an LED overhead light to brighten up the room. The vegan breakdfast was nor very good. The tofu was over-saled and the potatoes were greasy and soggy Since most of the dinner specials were meat or seafood, I imagine the chef is not familiar with vegan items. Also there were no telephones in the room, so you could not ring for assistance or room service.

The swimming pool was great with an ideal temperature. The 50% Happy Hour discount made sipping at the bar guilt free. The snack menu was very good., especially the chicken satay.

Best for traveling with pets, also one among the top hotels in town we shouldn't miss. All staffs are responsive and very helpful. I'm glad I had booked with breakfast, that was tasty. Glad to mention that this property is located in the center of town, surrounded by many restaurants, just a few steps to popular nightlife pubs, and the well-known Sangker River. I could definitely recommend this to others and I would book here once again for my next trip to Battambang.

It was a real shame but the club next door was very loud and ran on until the early hours on one of the nights and neither my son nor husband could sleep through it. Hence I had to give low marks for location. Ear plugs were provided which helped. ( I, however, had no problem with the noise ).

Lovely setting, the bar, pool area and the rooms are really well thought out. We loved it. ( Plus the hotel should re- shoot their photos as the existing photos don’t do it justice!) Great food and drink and a super breakfast. Really helpful advice and help with tours.

Nothing. This is a great place to stay.

Thoughtfully designed rooms with comfortable beds and beautiful tiled floors. Well maintained swimming pool and excellent bar/ restaurant. Staff members were friendly, helpful & efficient and able to book onward tickets and good, English speaking tuktuk drivers. There's an excellent list of sight seeing suggestions in the room - even this 4th time visitor to Battambang was able to find quite a few new places to explore. Bambu is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Ear plugs are provided if the neighbouring bars are too noisy. In my downstairs room I could only just hear the music.
