The breakfasts are fabulous and vey generous and the menu caters for vegan, vegetarian and Khmer tastes. I love to be surrounded by greenery - it's always a peaceful oasis.

I have stayed before - this is definitely the place to be in BTB. The food is terrific, and the lovely green surroundings make it a relaxing place to sit by the pool or the bar. My only regret this trip was we had to start so early on our field trips, that I missed out on the delicious breakfasts.

Beautiful rooms, especially the deluxe option, which have traditional wooden walls. The pool is very clean and offers a nice fresh relaxing spot. We appreciated the support in organizing tuktuk guided tour through the city and other attractions in the countryside.

The location is quite close to the riverside, but not in the central area of the city. The only real problem is that the rooms are not isolated against the noise, so you can hear the music coming from the neighboring clubs, the traffic, the dogs, the frogs,… We appreciated the fact that the hotel provided effective earplugs.

Everything about this place was spot-on. Very well organized and managed hotel that felt more like a boutique resort. Large rooms, great pool, great food, and the poolside bar was a great space for happy hour. Staff were excellent. Will book here again when in Battambang

Interior design had a charming vintage appeal while the rooms were perfectly equipped. The staff were very attentive and spoke excellent English. The restaurant menu was great for both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend and would stay again

The owner Pat and his team made us feel very welcome. We throughly enjoyed the relaxed vibe of this hotel one of the best so far on our travels. Restaurant food and bar cocktails were great. The pool is clean and warm, enjoyed lunch chilling by the pool. The rooms are big, bed comfortable we slept very well Shout out again to all the staff We were sad to leave

Shower area in room needs a bit of TLC

The room is large and very private. It’s in a good location with a few steps from the river. The bad is that the breakfast is very mediocre and the restaurant food is just as bad. The internet is just as bad.

The reviews weren't exaggerating, lovely hotel, with a great feel to it ,- as others mentioned, tiled floors, excellent pool (heated too!). Big room. Breakfast was good too but you had to.place your order, not a buffet which is so inefficient!. My only suggestion for improvement would be for decent lighting in the bedroom - it's dark and the lighting is totally inadequate for reading. There's a great temple nearby and the Villa restaurant around the corner is superb. The hotel's restaurant is good too but I like to spread the business around. Just around the corner is a museum of art with works by 4 male child artists, now adults, rescued from tough lives - well worth a visit (Romcheik). There is also a gym next door to the hotel, only 4000 Riel for a day pass - great value. There's the original Bamboo Train- the station etc. is not well-maintained but the actual bamboo wagons are a laugh. Best sight of all - the bat exodus from the bat cave at dusk. It's an incredible sight as one million (estimate) bats go on the hunt for food. Honestly, it'll blow your mind unless you're David Attenborough! It's 14km away, $12 by tuk-tuk, there and back. GO! I cycled it, easy and flat but bloody hot!

Very nice building, wonderful garden with pool, very quiet location, nice restaurant

The hotel is on the other side of the river from the centre so you need a tuktuk which is not really a problem if you use Grab

The hotel is a really chilled space. Some really nice touches like the tiles and the shower. We really enjoyed sitting in the bar area in the evening with the breeze flowing through.

Lovely rooms, great cocktails and friendly staff. They recommended a great tuk tuk driver to show us the sights (bamboo railway, bat cave, local markets etc). It's an easy walk across the river into town.
