We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsWe had a wonderful stay at Pomelo Outpost. The host, Sarom, and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. They invited us to join them to see a local dancing show, which was a highlight of our trip. The room itself was really clean and had good working airconditioning and a nice private bathroom. Sarom made us breakfast, and options for lunch and dinner were also available upon request. Besides the good room, there is a beautiful terrace with a lovely view over a lotus field. We highly recommend this place!

GermanyWe had a delightful 2-nights stay at this homestay over the lotus farm. Clean, fast internet, friendly host and a wonderful break from the tourist-centric Siem Reap center. The homeowner Sarom is friendly, speaks English well and can take you around in his tuk-tuk or borrow his bike. Catching the sunset from spacious back porch over the lotus field was especially lovely and tranquil.

Everything was fantastique. Sarom is really great, so kind and speaks well english He came to pick us up in the centre of Siem Reap. Then he drove us with his tik tuk to the nearest flotting village with a very interesting stop and visit at the lotus farm, for a very good price. The homestay is exceptionnal, the room, the bath room, the terrasse over a lotus field. The home is very well decorated and confortable. We even ask Sarom to be our tuk tuk driver one day to visit some temples around Angkor Vat.

RussiaI believe there isn’t much around, and it might feel far for most travelers. However, in our case, we were traveling by motorbike, so it wasn’t too difficult to get there.
From the very first day, we were warmly welcomed. The view of the lotus farm at the back is absolutely stunning, and the room is well-equipped at an incredible price. This was the best hotel I stayed at in Cambodia—simply excellent!

CambodiaWow, the location is beautiful. We were very surprised at how spotless the rooms were and the great value we got the rooms at. Overall Fantastic experience. We were greeted at the bus station by the manager and driver straight to the hotel where he helped us navigate all there is to do in Siem Reap. The hotel is a little bit further from Pub Street but the view and location make it well worth it.
