Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyYou need to take a Tuk Tuk to go in town, which takes only 10 minutes. It can be uncomfortable when it rains.
From the moment we arrived at Memoire d’Angkor Boutique Hotel, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff provided excellent service, always attentive and friendly, creating an atmosphere where we felt truly cared for. A special mention goes to Seakmei, whose kindness, professionalism, and heartfelt service stood out and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel itself is clean, elegant, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is calm and inviting, offering the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the temples. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail, from the décor to the cleanliness, which gave the hotel a sense of both style and comfort. Dining at the restaurant was another highlight. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and consistently of high quality. We enjoyed each meal and valued the care put into both taste and presentation. The spa was also a wonderful experience. We tried different massages and found each to be deeply relaxing. The couple packages added a romantic touch and made the experience feel extra special. What impressed us most was the genuine hospitality. The staff’s smiles, helpfulness, and willingness to support us at any time truly made our stay unforgettable.

AustraliaNothing to dislike at this beautiful hotel.
The very tasty breakfast selections changed daily and were beautifully presented. The pool was enormous and well maintained. The location is only a twenty five minute walk or 5 minute Tuk tuk ride to town.

BelgiumWe arrived on a Saturday night without having planned any specific activities. The next morning, we went to the reception, and the staff went above and beyond to help us organize a perfect itinerary for our stay. We’d especially like to thank Muny, one of the amazing hosts, who took the time to patiently show us all the best things to do in Siem Reap over two full days. He explained how to explore the Angkor Wat temple complex, gave us different options, and kindly arranged bicycles, motorbikes, and more. While reading through the hotel brochures, we discovered the Kulen Elephant Forest and the Apsara Theatre, both of which we were eager to experience. Unfortunately, the Kulen Forest tours were shown as fully booked on the official website. We asked Muny for help and left for a full-day visit to the Angkor temples, hoping for a miracle. And a miracle happened. When we returned to our room that evening, we found a printed note from Muny: he had managed to secure us a spot on a tour to the Kulen Elephant Forest for Monday afternoon, followed by an evening at the Apsara Theatre. We were stunned and deeply touched. The visit to the Kulen Elephant Forest was one of the most moving and magical experiences of our trip. And to top it all off, we arrived at the Apsara Theatre to find out that Muny had booked us the two best seats in the house — center stage, front row, with no one in front of us! Beyond this incredible level of care, the hotel itself is stunning. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Room service is excellent, and the restaurant staff are just as lovely and attentive as the rest of the team. The hotel’s design is elegant and relaxing, with magnificent swimming pools nestled among beautiful villas. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage! We will forever be grateful to the Memoire Palace Resort for turning our honeymoon into an unforgettable and truly magical eexperience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We stayed in the Grand Pool Suite at Memoire Palace Resort & Spa, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism – the service was impeccable, and every staff member was genuinely friendly and eager to help. Our suite was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, featuring a separate living area and dining space, along with a large bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. It was the perfect combination of comfort and luxury. The breakfast buffet was extensive and varied, with both local and international options to suit every taste – a great start to each day. The resort’s grounds are truly a highlight: a lush, green oasis with beautifully landscaped gardens and charming paths leading between the villas and the central pool. The setting is tranquil and inviting, creating a sense of privacy and relaxation. Overall, Memoire Palace Resort & Spa is a haven of peace and comfort, with top-notch service and thoughtful details throughout. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and serene getaway.

AustriaThere were many mosquitoes in the garden, along with small crickets and bugs, some of which made their way into the room due to a slight gap under the door and windows that weren’t fully sealed. Mosquito repellent spray was provided in the room. We had brought our own mosquito plug-in, which was very helpful. The surrounding area isn’t suitable for a casual walk, but the town center with restaurants, coffee shops, and more is just a 5–10 minute tuk-tuk ride away. There was no smart TV, but it didn’t really matter for a short stay, as most of the time is spent exploring anyway.
The rooms were pleasant, spacious, and located right by the pool. The pool was exceptionally large - pool water was warm. The garden area was beautifully maintained and had an exotic feel. The hotel is well-kept—ideal for a trip to Angkor Wat. Staff was friendly. The hotel grounds were very quiet and pleasant. The bed and pillows were comfortable. May-September is low season, there are only a few tourists in the area, which means a high staff-to-guest ratio and very attentive service.

United KingdomThe fresh water pool could have been cleaner, but that is me being very picky. The hotel is looking tired and could do with some renovation but I really enjoyed my stay.
The staff were so attentive and helpful. They gave me a lovely surprise for my birthday. There was a mix-up with breakfast to go one morning, and they offered me a complimentary afternoon tea which was delicious. The spa is wonderful and I had a fantastic 90 mins massage.

The staff were excellent, very friendly. Breakfast good and the pool was brilliant after a long morning sightseeing. Few sunbeds but always able to get one, no matter what time we arrived. Room very spacious and bed super comfy. Location is $1 ride from town, download grab app for taxis. This was easy to use and very convenient. Location for us perfect as we wanted to build in chill time too. Hotel is quiet, again perfect for afternoon chill.
