Reviews of Nice Beach Bungalow

Great location on Coconut beach, which is very quiet and calm. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is fine, a mix of east and west. The other beaches are reachable by tuktuk or scooter. Only part of the road is paved, so it can be a bit rough in spots.

The tuktuks to get from Covonut beach to other beaches, especially Touch beach and Long Beach cost relatively more than in the cities in Cambodia.

Nice beach really lives up to its name as the property is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, booking us taxis into town and arranging an early morning pick up when we had a boat to catch. The sea view bungalows are spacious, clean and comfortable with great air con!

Perfect location by a secluded beach, perfect for chilling by the sand

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, gave us a free tuktuk to them from the boat! Also helped us book tuktuk’s to and from Long Set which about 12/15 mins away with more night life. Food was quick, yummy and great selection! Their bar area closes, lights off at 9:30 so no night life but great for a quiet stay! Straight out onto the beach with a pier you can walk down/ snorkel around with lots of fish to see! We also got a bracelet each on check out!

The journey to Nice Beach from Long Set is a bit treacherous which isn’t their fault at all, just be prepared! We stayed in the little fouton huts which were very sweet but susceptible to damp in the bad weather so if we came again would definitely upgrade to a bungalow! Toilets are a bit of a walk in the middle of the night when raining and pretty bad mosquitos so ended up just showering by the beach to avoid getting bitten! Other than that, all good :)

Amazing location and price for a stay at that kind of beach

The huts are very basic but we understood this before going just wish the huts were more sealed round the edges.

I really like the location; it was a quiet and clean beach with friendly people and great food.

Lots of bugs in the washroom,but this was expected since I was in jungle. :0)

Great location. Great staff, couldn’t ask for better hosts. Good moped hire, food and drinks too.

Beds on the floor covered in bugs and inevitably sand. Mosquito nets don’t serve their purpose due to massive holes in them. Shared showers and bathrooms is never ideal.

I highly recommend this familydriven Place. The Staff is lovely and very welcoming. The food is very good and affordable,, even tourists near by go there.My Bungalow was pretty basic, but had everything I need. Plus no Moskitos at all! I extended my stay several times. In the end I got a handmade Armband from one of the familymembers. Such a sweet Gesture.

The toilets and showers are very basic and could use some overhaul. The locks in the doors are not functional at times.

Aircon was loud and kept us awake sometimes, bed quite hard.

Situated on a quiet beach on the island, beautiful. Nice little huts, just could do with AC although the fan is effective. Food was good and well priced. Bathrooms fine.

The beach is sooo beautiful. It was great to wake up next to the ocean. Really nice hammocks and chairs. Food was all good!

Staff was nice but a bit slow sometimes. Location is quite hard to reach. They pick you up by truck when you arrive, but the tuktuk/scooter rides are extremely bumpy. Not the best location if you wanna explore the island, but great if you just wanna chill on the beach. The resort next door played loud music until 11 in the evening which was annoying because the bungalows are not sound-proof at all and are right next to the other hotel. But that wasn't the staff's fault.

The beach is amazing and the place is quiet and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and ready to help and support. We had few problems during our stay and they offered multiple solutions. They have a great variety of food, including a lot of vegetarian options!

Bungalows are near the forest which is very very nice but expect little guests at night. Geckos of course. We woke up in the middle of the night with mice eating our crisps. It was stupid of us to take food to the room. We told the stuff and they gave us a different room immediately.

Myself and another guest were both bitten by a dog in the same night, when sitting on the beach in which was part of the Nice Beach Bungalow. We were both taken to hospital on the island to seek treatment. The hotel did not show any concern after the incident. They said they would remove the dog from the premises, later did we find out it was only moved to the resort next door, which is connected by a beach. The hotel staff did not bring up the incident once after it happened, no compensation was offered, and no care for the unsafety of hotel guests. This tarnished our experience greatly of Koh Rong Island, due to the lack of precautions taken to keep hotel guests safe.

I liked the isolated location and the ambience. The vegetarian food was also fine. We rented motorcycle for the whole day and enjoyed going around the island. The owners were responsive and helpful. They also gave snorkeling gear for free. Beds and mosquito nets were comfortable to sleep in. Good wi-fi and beach area with facilities.

There was no hot water in the room. The room said mountain view but didn't really have much of a view as such. It would be nice to have mosquito nets on the windows and doors so that we can leave them open for fresh natural air. Vegetarian food was good but would be nice to have more of those.

An absolutely beautiful location on the beach. Quiet and peaceful away from the main beaches on Koh Rong. Clean and comfortable room. Basic amenities but everything we expected and needed for a short stay. Absolutely wonderful service. A lovely family-led place where everyone was so helpful. The food and drinks at the restaurant were all fabulous and reasonably priced. We enjoyed so much, thank you!
