How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewGreat location across from killing fields. Hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. I loved the antique and quient style. Not a big hotel and it suited me well. I visited with my son and room was a good size
More meat for breakfast like sausages

Verified reviewA lovely hotel that is very convenient for the Ankhor Wat temple area. We had a twin room and a spacious family room with 2 bathrooms. The breakfast was nice with a buffet plus cooked food available to order.

Verified reviewThe hotel itself was nice, staff were very friendly, and the owner as well. It was nice to see cats there and know that they were being taken care of! It was a peaceful area, the pool was good, and the breakfast was a nice touch. The homemade yogurt was awesome!
The bed could have been a bit cleaner, but other than that everything was great for the value!

Unfortunately the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We found a sock under the bed (not ours :( )

Verified reviewExcellent location, very close to Angkor Wat. The hotel organizes everything for you, from the airport pickup to the tour at Angkor Wat. It's super clean, beds are very comfy and the shower is great. The food at the restaurant is particularly good, specially the Cambodian specialities. Since we visited in rainy season we spent most of the time at the hotel and we are very grateful we had everything we needed at the hotel.
Nothing.

Verified reviewThe hotel is stunning, with beautiful garden and swimming pool. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, with some local choices. And the staff very friendly and helpful.
In general everything was very good. Although the hotel is located in a quiet area, we could hear loud music one night. The hotel organized some tours for us, but never informed us about a 3% of charge for paying by card when giving us the tour prices. Also and as a suggestion, it'd be better to offer breakfast on request in low season, just to avoid waste, as we had a huge food selection for the two of us.

Verified reviewBeautiful setup at the hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing. Beautiful pool, and nice 'happy hour' for beer and cocktails every day. They even boxed up a breakfast for us when we did sunrise at Angkor Wat. Genuinely felt like all the staff wanted to make sure they did everything to make guests have an amazing stay.
Really being nitpicky as it was amazing. The hotel is a little further out of town, but a Tuk-Tuk is only 10 minutes and around $1. Breakfast wasn't as extensive as some other places we stayed, but still all fresh and a good range of options, including cooked.

Verified reviewLove it! I was not expecting the place to be the best since i only paid 37 USD. But when i arrived, it was beyond what i was expecting. Very clean! Aesthetically beautiful! The room is huge and complete with coffee and everything. There was a welcome drink which i loved! There was also a small pack of fruits when i came into the room! The exchange they gave for what i paid was way more!!! The staff was always available and very very helpful!! Also fast response when i needed the tuktuk driver after my Angkor Wat tour. And it has kept the vibe Cambodia. From materials to decorations!
Nothing!!!

Verified reviewPerfect location. Very close to the Angkor Site! Good standard and good breakfast. Despite breakfast being served until 10am, the staff didn't rush like insane at 10am to clean it all and remove,as it happens in other hotels. They allowed us to eat in peace until 10:30am which i appreciate. Very polite staff and the rooms are comfy and quiet
The pool isn't best and quite a lot of mosquitoes. They could have fone something to scare them off. Some scents or similiar..

Verified reviewIt’s a small boutique hotel and staff is very attentive and everyone addresses you by name and are always ready to help. The building is beautiful, reminds me of the White Lotus season 3 location but at a very small scale. Breakfast has a good variety and is very fresh. A lot of fruit and juice options.. breads are good.. mostly vegetarian except for the eggs which are made to order and part of free breakfast.. It’s a little off the tourist circuit and quiet but still within the city.. Overall I would definitely come back and stay here..
I wish there was an elevator so people with knee problems can get the higher floors and generally it would be easy to carry large checked in bags if there is an elevator. They help put the baggage in the room and bring it to the front during check out anyways, that wouldn’t discourage me much..
