On the downside, we were only given one towel each, so we had to use the same towel for the body, face, and hands. On the one hand, it felt eco-friendly, which is why we didn’t complain, but on the other hand, it was a bit unusual. Also, the light fixtures above the dining tables are in urgent need of cleaning!

Wonderful staff, perfect organization regarding our pick-up from the boat, and a free upgrade to a sea view villa since it wasn’t very busy and they were able to offer it. Lovely rooms and a nice cuisine, both for breakfast and/or lunch/dinner

Everything! Plus I’ve checked other resorts, Saracen the best one value for money. So spacious entire villas, privacy and calm atmosphere. Plus tasty food in the restaurant. They provide tea and coffee and kettler, it’s useful trust me. They provide kayak as well with no charge.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was big, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. What we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere — no noise, just the sounds of the jungle around us. We also had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and both meals were super tasty. Would definitely love to come back!

We had an exceptional time at Saracen Bay Resort - do yourself a favor and stay here, if you are in doubt. The resort is located at the nicest part of the beach, bungalows are spacious, clean and well equipped. AC is powerful, cooling down the space in minutes and the warm shower was also very nice - especially as it was rainy and not as hot the first days of our stay. The room was cleaned daily, beach towels were provided and the staff were also extremely kind and friendly and helped us with our onward ferry ticket. Also, hands down the best breakfast set in regards to taste + value for money that we had anywhere in our 4 months of travel. 100% recommend.

It was nicely situated in this part of the island. An easy walk to good restaurants and facilities. The beach was kept clean and had comfortable beach chairs. Kayaks were provided gratis to guests and that was appreciated. It was a short walk to a beautiful waterfall as well. I think Saracen bay resort was the best pick of the accommodation in this part of the island.

Great hotel. Location only steps from the beautiful clean beach. Raked every day. Modern Bungalows right on the beach spacious, light filled, modern furnishings, clean with two arm chairs and sofa on the veranda, plus sofa inside. Large bathroom. Lots of hangers. Food generous delivered by smiling happy waiters. Hong on reception was welcoming with a big smile always. Only five minutes walk between two boat ramps. Supermarket 15 minutes walk along the beach. Massages 1 hour US$16. Beautiful quiet end of the beach. Highly recommended

Best Value for money from all the accomodation options on this island from what I looked( and I did). Wanted one night but extended to three. Lovely workers, very clean, the restroom was huge and everything was comfortable. Loved it!!

Beautiful location and view from the bungalow onto the bay. The kind of remote getaway that you read about in stories but have all but disappeared in today’s world of ‘progress”. Ratify beach and sunrise. Quiet.

It’s a very “rustic” hotel, (as are they all at Saracen’s Bay to be fair) there’s no big building with rooms as you think of most hotels, Reception is a planked wood building with some tables and chairs which is essentially the restaurant. I felt it could do with updating. There is no pool so the hotel lacked somewhere for people to meet. The room was a great size but the mattress was rock hard and the furniture could do with updating. For me, I would rather have paid double what I paid and have a little more luxury. This place is begging to be turned into a luxury boutique hotel IMO!

Staff were great, particularly Mr Hong and the location on the beach near Rumi pier is excellent. The hotel to one side has closed down so no noise from there and then it’s a 10 minute walk before you come across any of the other resorts. The sand and sea are gorgeous, the beach is deeper where the hotel is located and unlike all the other resorts further down the beach, the hotel does not try and pull in customers from outside the hotel to eat in the restaurant by putting tables and chairs on the beach. This means it’s quieter and a bit more “exclusive”I would recommend the beach villa as you have a lovely view although privacy is a bit compromised.

Very nice small resort directly on a very nice strip of Sanloem beach. The staff was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Unfortunately Saracen beach is very dirty and rotten in most parts, but right in front of the resort the beach is very clean, tidy and almost paradise-like. Fantastic sunrise over the sea. The food was very good and our room was super comfortable and nice.

Very nice bungalow, spacious, daily cleaning, located on the quiet side of the beach, not far from the pier either. Terrace is huge, with sofa table and chairs, it’s really lovely. Room also spacious, with fridge & kettle, sofa table and desk. Restaurant served lovely food, with Asian, khmer & western option. Cocktails are also nice here. (No happy hour) The surrounding areas are very green and hide the other bungalows in front of you. They build it in a way you have more privacy too. You feel in the nature with sea view path even if you are not beachfront. Staff are very friendly.

Lovely quiet resort with the beach right outside the bungalow. The bungalow was spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable if you like it a little on the harder side.
