GermanyThe staff was not really helpful. Whenever I asked something they looked at me somehow terrified. We asked multiple times to book a tuktuk for us at a specific time and he made sure he got it right. I don't know if it was really his fault but somehow he couldn't book a driver and we arrived 30mins late to our bus. Also the room had a TV which was obviously not working, but I assume that's just normal in most hostels.
All in all it was okay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was okay as well even tho there is not really a lot to do in general.

NamibiaBalcony is not really a place to hang out, no tables, no furniture. A bit pricy for Cambodia, you get the same elsewhere for much less money. Shame we didn't have an option for a room without aircon on booking.com, that would save you 5 USD per night, as we found out when we arrived. We just didn't like the city itself, overpriced activities and not much to do when you are on a budget.
Big clean room with comfortable bed, just like the pictures. Good cafe/restaurant next door which is part of the savet guesthouse (really good coffee and comfortable chairs to relax). Staff friendly and helpful.

United KingdomRoom offered NO daily cleaning services which could be explained of the daily rate we paid?! We took a private car to cross the border to Laos, changed bit money, paid USD40 each for e-visa, bought local SIM cards at border as well, and transferred to Laos mini van all the way to Nakasone > boat to Don Det island. All went well except the chartered boat to Don Det had very "low" benches for my big hubby to sit on, and the boatman didn't seem to care at all!
The owner couple were very friendly and helpful, so as the staff. We're able to stay in a bigger twin room on 1/F due to my husband's problem of climbing to the 5/F. They've a relaxing terrace seating area for drinks in front. 2 young men at front desk spoke good English and very responsive to our needs, also kept reminding our next day schedules in timely manner! Several local restaurants nearby the main market. Appointed tuk tuk driver was very friendly and helpful. Had the most wonderful day trip to the Mekong River waterfall on Cambodian side overlooking Laos in the morning (2 hrs. drive) > lunch with view of Chinese built dam in Laos > best 4 hours relaxing boat tour slowly back southward of spectecular view of the flooding forests, few bird's watching at dawn and sunset view back to Stung Treng. Highly recommended for those willing to fork out more for USD200/2 pax with car transfer in the morning.

The town is very relaxed with nice views on the river. Great coffee at the Coffee House next to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

AustraliaThe building is great but needs some repairs to doors and windows. It didn't affect our stay, just a comment.
Good location to walk to river and market. There are plenty of food vendors and shops nearby. The two reception staff were very helpful and lovely. They will help with tours or transport as well. Our room was very clean, a good size with a comfortable bed and two large windows. There is also a terrace on the top floor where we had some drinks.
