One of my favourite stays during my travels in Cambodia. It’s a bit of a climb up to the top but once you’re there it has a great view. Room absolutely did the trick for the days I was there and the staff were super accommodating and fun. I even ended up heading out with them for some local karaoke. Would love to stay here again next time I’m on Koh Rong. :)

They have power cuts regularly The corner of the bed is a hazard as I banged my leg multiple times on the sharp corner The dogs can be intimidating if you’re not a dog lover The location on the island means if you don’t take a tuk tuk you’ll end up walking through the new road and it’s extremely muddy The stairs haha that was a workout in itself

There was a misunderstanding about my extension: It didn’t appear on their calendar and I had to argue a bit with the receptionist. All good at the end

I booked a private room and it was a good value for money. The view from the bar and the room is amazing. I confirm the reviews from others travellers: the stairs are hard and difficult to climb

The stairs to get to the restaurant/terrace are pretty brutal, especially if you have a heavy backpack when checking in. The beach in this part of the island is not great; to go to Long Set beach you’ll need to either walk for 20-30 minutes, take a tuk tuk for $10, or rent a motorbike for $10 but the road is pretty bad.

The private room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant/terrace is very nice with a beautiful view and the food was good and not expensive. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Had to pay for small things like filling up water and expensive extras on food (e.g. adding beans was $2!) Lots of stairs to walk up to reception/restaurant The plug in the bathroom was at the other end of the shower near the toilet so you have to soak the whole room every time you shower The shower head holder was broken so I had to rest it on a shelf to try and shower myself (Room 5) so this needs to be fixed Not daily cleaning No lamp or side lighting

It was lovely, the views were gorgeous and the rooms were big with en suites and air con. The only thing that was a killer was getting up the insane amount of steps with my big backpack on. Staff were lovely and I would defo recommend here.

Only stayed for a night on the way to Koh Rong Sanloem but had a nice experience. The way up is no joke, a real workout 😄 The double room was spacious and clean. Up in the bar you can do cash out for only 6% which is lower than any other place in the village.

Nice cool dormitories and lovely views from the bar. You can pay with card for an extra 5% which is a bit high, but if you are a guest and set up a tab then you get enough discounts (10% off food orders and all day gappy hour deals) to offset this. Was happy with my stay.

you have to go long stairs up to check in or get to your room. if you carry a big suitcase with you that would be a little bit difficult. and there's no room service during our 3 days stay

good location. very close to the pier and restaurants. it's on the top of a tiny mountain so is relatively quiet in such a noisy area full of pubs. there is a bar with good sea view .room facility is new and nice

The manager wasn’t the nicest, and the prices were quite high (almost double than the city). My guess is that they use the fact people won’t go down in all of those stairs just for water so the take 1.5$ instead of 0.75$… same about food. NOTICE if you have a disability you cannot stay there. There are more than 100 stairs you should take every time you want to go to the dorms.

Just a warning even as a heavy sleeper, if you are starting in the private rooms up the stairs, the cockerels make a really loud noise from about 3:30am and this goes on for hours.

Lots of steps can be a pain when it's hot, but also I kind of appreciated the exercise after being lazy at the beach all day.
