Staff were often sitting on their phones listening to random social media on loud speakers while guests were sitting and eating. Especially when there are things for them to do, such as pick up the litter on the beach or put out beach loungers or minor repairs. Guests come to the island to hear and see the sea. Although in their defense, this seems very common throughout Cambodia, where people are unaware of noise pollution. Where much of Western cultures find it to be inconsiderate to others. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned a few days later, when using the ladies' bathrooms in the restaurant found that the toilet seats were missing, as well dustbins to throw the tissues in. It looks like there are some dustbins that were taken out to empty and just forgotten to return. I eventually fetched 1 myself as I did not want to put the tissue in the toilet.

Was good value for money at 17$ per night for a basic backpacker style room that is not too far from the ferry drop-off in Saracen bay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was a fan room. Staff were super friendly and helpful, offering various additional services. Food was tasty, the portions were good and drinks were also very reasonable.

Could you please put a big mirror in room B03, and also sweep under the bed!!! A waste paper bin in the bedroom would be useful too...

Breakfast was good. I wish the restaurant would invest in a few Cafetieres in order to serve ground coffee rather than instant coffee. They could make more money too. I happily paid $3.50 on Lazy Beach for a cafetiere with Lavazza ground coffee used. The food was very good generally, and the drinks were fairly priced too.

Comfortable stay. Nice to have a little porch to chill after a day at the beach. Staff helped us book a ferry back to the mainland, as well as transport to the pier.

The bathroom functioned as a toilet with a tiny hand basin. There was a fixed shower head but nowhere to stand to take a shower. The tiles were broken and very dated . It is a shame this small room let this chalet down so much. There is space to make this shower room larger and refit it so you can take a shower.

The setting, staff and food here were all excellent. The little chalet was sweet and the bed was comfortable. The Aircon worked well and there was outside space to sit on the porch too.

Bit run down but basic and get what you pay for, would still stay again. Construction going on at back producing bad smel, dust and smoke. We’re picked up from pier on arrival by boat and helped with bags however on day leaving weren’t offered any help and had to walk to the pier 20 mins away as orchid wasn’t running due to bad weather so keep that in mind if weather changes.

Staff very friendly, decent accommodation along the beach. They do BBQs in the evening which is great value for money as well as a normal menu. We enjoyed the breakfast options.

The beach in front can be narrow when the tide is up and the sea is rough, and is quite shallow for swimming.

Good value for money right on the beach. Basic but comfy rooms and a restaurant attached. Central along the beach. Good starting point for the amazing beaches on the other side of gje island that can be reached by 30 minute walk through the forest.

There are roosters outside, so don't pretend to wake up late. Futhermore, the AC was very noisy.

The rooms could do with a bit of updating, the bathroom especially. Our shower drain blocked easily and water didn't go down very well after the shower.

The location was fantastic, the staff were so kind and helpful they even booked us onto a boat trip! The food at the place was great and good priced you can pay on card too. The bed was comfortable and the Aircon worked well. I loved that we had a little patio to sit on too. The hotel compound was super clean and tidy too.

Our bungalow was the n⁰1 and it's the worst, pretty unequal compared to the other ones. The room should be better cleaned.

We knew where we were coming. The staff was nice and helpful, the food and drinks are good and the plankton tour was really good. The location is also super central and you have your feet in the water.

Very expensive for what it was, and not worth the money paid. No hot water in the shower, basic room. Would’ve been great for half the price. The restaurant was only ok - I recommend going along the beach to the Big Easy to eat, where the food is much nicer & better priced.

I had a bungalow with air con which was necessary as it was very hot on the island overnight! The room was basic but fine, the location was amazing, right on the most beautiful white sand beach, with plenty of seating overlooking/on the beach, and other places to sit/eat/drink nearby.
