Reviews of Sweet Time Bungalows

Was good value for money at 17$ per night for a basic backpacker style room that is not too far from the ferry drop-off in Saracen bay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was a fan room. Staff were super friendly and helpful, offering various additional services. Food was tasty, the portions were good and drinks were also very reasonable.

Staff were often sitting on their phones listening to random social media on loud speakers while guests were sitting and eating. Especially when there are things for them to do, such as pick up the litter on the beach or put out beach loungers or minor repairs. Guests come to the island to hear and see the sea. Although in their defense, this seems very common throughout Cambodia, where people are unaware of noise pollution. Where much of Western cultures find it to be inconsiderate to others. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned a few days later, when using the ladies' bathrooms in the restaurant found that the toilet seats were missing, as well dustbins to throw the tissues in. It looks like there are some dustbins that were taken out to empty and just forgotten to return. I eventually fetched 1 myself as I did not want to put the tissue in the toilet.

The place is run by kids. There are no adults. It is the dirtiest place on the beach. They swept but left all the plastic bottles and drink cans on the floor. There was sand in the bed so the sheets had not been changed.

Staff are friendly, foods are good. Bath towels are smell bad. 😔

Very close to the beach and there were loads of food options.

Breakfast was good. I wish the restaurant would invest in a few Cafetieres in order to serve ground coffee rather than instant coffee. They could make more money too. I happily paid $3.50 on Lazy Beach for a cafetiere with Lavazza ground coffee used. The food was very good generally, and the drinks were fairly priced too.

Could you please put a big mirror in room B03, and also sweep under the bed!!! A waste paper bin in the bedroom would be useful too...

Very very unclean property, pillows were covered in mold and sheets covered in stains. Felt thoroughly unclean . Towels had dead bugs in them and were unable to use .

Amazing stay, staff were wonderful and so helpful helped us get to the departure pier free of charge, location was amazing right on the beautiful beach, restaurant was great we ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner both days we stayed here as it was delicious and very reasonably priced, definitely recommend you booking this place

Comfortable stay. Nice to have a little porch to chill after a day at the beach. Staff helped us book a ferry back to the mainland, as well as transport to the pier.

Wifi worked, but was spotty at times. No real complaints, though!

Location was good, beachfront, large rooms/cabins, kind staff. Happy with most things. Pancakes on their menu were delicious (Nutella and fruit filled)

Very uncomfortable bed (springs were exposed)

We had a wonderful 5 nights here. The bungalow is basic but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect location, with easy access to nearby piers and in walking distance of other beaches around the island. The boat trip organised by the accommodation was a fun way to see more of the island. Great BBQ every night with a range of fresh fish to chose from. All the staff are friendly and attentive. They provided wonderful service and kindly picked us up and dropped us to the pier. Big thanks to our friend 168. We hope to visit again in the future!

Location is great and staff are very friendly, food in there restaurant is really good as well. Would recommend staying here as it was good value for money

Cold shower only thing everything else was great

Great location in front of the beach. Nice restaurant and comfortable rooms.

The setting, staff and food here were all excellent. The little chalet was sweet and the bed was comfortable. The Aircon worked well and there was outside space to sit on the porch too.

The bathroom functioned as a toilet with a tiny hand basin. There was a fixed shower head but nowhere to stand to take a shower. The tiles were broken and very dated . It is a shame this small room let this chalet down so much. There is space to make this shower room larger and refit it so you can take a shower.

Great location, right next to orchid pier and 20 mins walk from other pier, lovely quiet beach, stunning clear water.

Bit run down but basic and get what you pay for, would still stay again. Construction going on at back producing bad smel, dust and smoke. We’re picked up from pier on arrival by boat and helped with bags however on day leaving weren’t offered any help and had to walk to the pier 20 mins away as orchid wasn’t running due to bad weather so keep that in mind if weather changes.

Good location

Very unclean. There was a maggot in the bathroom. Bed was uncomfortable, stained and had bugs on it. No proper lock on the door. Kept awake by construction next door and the roof sounded like it was going to cave in at one point with things dropping on it. Took ages to be served by staff for food. Average food. Did the job for 1 night but wouldn't recommend staying here.

Great little bungalow on Saracen beach, very close to everything.

The rooms are very basic and there is no hot water.
